Have you not read anything I have written? There are many many govt programs that assist with education tuition, grants, financial aide, student loans that are deferred til after you complete school, do a little research.........
I never said it was easy, but with a little hard work and research to get some help, you can do it.
The "it's too hard" attitude is what is wrong with society today, you never get anywhere if you don't try.. or you can meddle in mediocracy forever. Its your choice....
<quoted text>
Yes, actually, I have, but seeing as how both my husband & I work FULL time, we don't qualify for any "assistance" or programs.

I never said, "it's too hard", but I'm not taking gas out of my car, or food out of my kid's belly to go back to school.

How do you know I "meddle in mediocrity"?(you spelled that wrong, btw, maybe YOU need to further YOUR education!?)

if you don't qualify for assistance or any govt grant or tuition programs, then you always have the option of deferred payment student loans. There is always a way, its just how bad you want it.

If you live paycheck to paycheck and it would take "gas out of your tank or food out of your kids bellies" I would call that mediocricy. If you want a better life, you work for it. I did.. I grew up in a poor family, and I made the conscience decision that i wasn't going to live like that, so I did everything I could to make sure that wasn't going to happen.

And thanks for pointing out my misspelled word, I sincerely apologize. When all else fails in a conversation, always point out others grammar and spelling mistakes, that always diverts attention.

Find it at all ironic that you talk about people bashing others , then in the same breath, wish the "god of despair"on them?

Who is the "god of despair" anyway??

You're wrong, my life is anything BUT mediocre, I never said I live paycheck to paycheck, you made an assumption, and it makes you look like an ass.

Yeah, if someone is behaving in a haughty, smart ass fashion, you bet your ass, I'll point out every mistake you make!!

You're clearly better than everyone else, therefore not at all worth my time.

Wow, someone is hostile!!! Look, I can only go off what you say, you say you can't afford school, but you work full time, yet going to school would take "gas out of your tank and food out of your kids bellys"..... Those are all facts. I was only offering help for anyone that needs and wants it..

I don't look down on anyone, because i have been there, but when i get beat on for for pointing out options, then yes I will be a smart ass about..... So you reap what you sew. Point out all the mistakes you want, but my original intentions are pure and clear, I'm sorry that you obviously took offense to me pointing out options for whatever reason... Maybe you should look in the mirror prior to trying to beat someone else down.

What?!?! I am a west Virginian born and raised!! You wouldn't find a more proud West Virginian anywhere in this state. I want my state to look good and to be represented as well as possible. So your assumption of my intentions makes you the prime example of what assuming does to a person.

If you are not interested in help or advice, that is on you. I was merely saying that there are options for anyone that is wanting to get an education, switch careers, go down a different path, if they wanted to get ahead. I don't see how that has anything to do with mocking WV'ians?

I'm hostile because you're making assumptions based on very little information, and being condescending.

Like I said, I don't have time for haughty people.

Me? You should go back and read.the prior posts, I was simply stating options for people who would like to explore the option of furthering their education, and despite my statements, you continued to badger me about "paying for your classes", of course I will turn defensive when someone beats and beats on a point that I have already spoken about..... I don't feel superior to anyone, and I don't see how you get arrogance from me original posts. Laying out options for people is hardly arrogance.

I wish more people could understand that education is not only relative to employment; what happened to expanding ones horizons???
