First off if your already on pain meds for PAIN then when you got hurt again those pain meds would still be sufficient. I'm guessing its the exact same narcotic your already prescribed. And I'm very sure if you would have told them at the dr or hospital you went to when you got hurt again you were already taking narcotics. They would not have written you another prescription. The pharmacys are all linked through a federal database it is a requirement. So your outta luck pal. Guess you can still get your fix but your dr will definitely find out! SMH. Your what's wrong with pain clinics. They try to help people and people like you abuse them!

Ok,# 1 When you went to the dr/hospital for your new injury, you broke your contract with your current pain clinic when you accepted an RX for pain meds.
#2 Narcotics are dangerous and precaution should be taken when using them. Mixing certain medications can lead to something much worse than the pain the THINK you have.
#3 No matter what pharmacy you fill at, it is reported to the federal database. Even if you think you are outsmarting the system by using a discount card instead of your insurance the new RX with show up as an interaction with the past RX and will be unfillable. They'll call your pain dr and the pharmacist will tear the new RX up in front of you at the dr's request.
#4 Trash like you that abuses drugs and the system is the number one reason WV is becoming one big nasty ghetto slum.

Go ahead, get that prescription filled. Maybe you'll get caught and wind up in jail or have an adverse reaction to mixing meds. Either way, you're off the streets.

The hospital did know that I got pain media but bc of my injury they precribed something stronger than what I normally get and no I do not abuse drugs! After reading ur comments I called my pain doc and he rewrote the hospitals rx for the stronger meds and said that it was fine for me to take it! I was in a car wreak and broke both of my legs! I'm not just a junkie I did need pain meds! I'm also not scum! I was just not wanting to get in trouble with my doc and I also was not wanting to be in pain! And I only asked about pharmacys I did not ask for all of ur negative bs that u felt that u needed to say! U don't know me or my story and until u do don't judge me! That's Gods job!

If you were truly in pain and worried about your dr the first thing you should have done is call the dr not pharmacy shop on topix

Excuse me, but you live in WV, correct? WV is has THE worst drug epidemic in the US. You got on TOPIX and asked about getting a pain med filled while you are under contract with a pain clinic and pharmacy and you are surprised by the negativity you received?? If you were legit, you would've questioned the ER staff. They know these answers. They answer them all the time. Call your pharmacy. They'll tell you. Call your pain clinic. They know. But, you questions they readers of Topix.....and we're the dumba$$es and idiots?!?! Right...

There is no pharmacy you can go to that wont track. Every prescription filled at any pharmacy automatically goes to the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy in Charleston on Capitol Street. It is automatically transmitted to them. All controlled drugs are tracked. This is how Doctor shoppers are tracked and arrested. There is no way around it. So if you think you pulled the wool over your doctors eyes you are mistaken. Pain doctors get a list of their patients control fills from the Pharmacy Board on a monthly basis and check to see anyone is getting drugs from another doctor. Oh and there is no excuse you can give us in the pharmacy, I have heard them all!
