I always figure with the people in handicapped spots, if it isn't obviously physical, it must be mental.

Yep.....(0+/ 0-)
It doesn't matter.
You believe, that's all that counts. Why worry about little things like logical inconsistencies, a complete lack of facts, and a story that makes absolutely no sense.
God sets up Adam & Eve to fail, wipes out all of humanity except for Russell Crowe and his family, advocates many behaviors we now consider vile, and in a fit of regret he kills himself (but not really) to save those who will throw away reason and just believe.
In the meantime, all those who don't believe* in this particular set of beliefs are doomed to eternal damnation.
* Some examples why:
1. Never heard the story
2. Brought up in other faiths
3. Can't believe because it makes no sense to them.

The commenter is pointing out inconsistencies and contradictions in the contrived Creationist explanations. Errors in logic. You know, one of the things you have trouble with. That's why you're calling it something it's not, because you have trouble with logic. If someone says,"That's really stupid, and it is really stupid, that's not bigotry, that's a fact.

This sounds like it could possibly describe Baconliar.

He was raised by an anti-clerical, skeptic father and a devout Catholic mother. Baptized as an infant, confirmed at the age of fifteen, he ceased attending Mass and participating in the sacraments in later life. In adulthood, he became disdainful of Christianity.

And actually that was describing Adolf Hitler. LOL

Hitler has been out of office for 69 years. You can stop blaming everything on him now.

Exactly like me. Except for my dad wasn't an anti-clerical skeptic and my mom wasn't a Catholic. I wasn't baptized as an infant or confirmed at 15. I never attended mass or participated in sacraments. And I'm not disdainful of Christianity. I'm disdainful at all mass delusions that preach hatred and use ignorance to dupe money out of people. It's inherently immoral and catastrophic to the advancement of humanity, always has been, and continues today.

Pretty close though George.

They seem to have no concept of what fascism is, either. Cheney and Halliburton, the Bushes and the Saudis, Mussolini and Italy, etc. But not someone trying (at least some) to save us from corporate oligarchy.

The electron microscope images of the snow crystals. Crazy.

Now, I know that George has DEBUNKED and PROVEN WRONG many would-be climate scammers like, you know, NASA, but how they managed to hoax the collapse of an entire ice sheet I will never know. Those guys are good at faking out people, that's for sure. I bet they just used a few ice cubes and some trick photography, but wow. Looks real.

Right, there is nothing for scale comparison in that photo, no trees or penguins. It must have been done in a hangar at Area 51.

Bacon, check this out. I wish we could get some of the yeehaws here to try out their theories in a realistic simulation and see how long they last. I've thought for a long time that presidential candidates should be judged in part by their scores in something like this.

http://www.masters-of-the-world.com/presentat...

Game Description
PLAY AS A HEAD OF STATE

Masters of the World, GPS3, is a geopolitical simulation of our current world. Players can play as heads of state or government (president, king, prime minister, etc.) of a country that they choose when they begin. They can take action in a number of areas: economic, social, military, political (domestic and foreign), environmental, cultural, transportation, etc.All the countries of the world are represented with their own variables and ways of functioning. The game includes phases for economic management, trade, wargame, construction, espionage, simulation, and political manipulation.
MULTIPLAYER, MULTICOUNTRY, MULTISCENARIO

Masters of the World can be played in single-player mode or in networked multiplayer mode. The player can choose to manage a single country or multiple nations at the same time, and develop collaborative strategies to change the fate of the world.Game settings can be adjusted in a number of areas, including terrorist organization activity levels, natural disaster probabilities, reactivity of the people, and war triggering.Twenty or so scenarios in line with current events are included, including “American Fiscal Cliff,”“Israel-Iran Escalation,”“Organization of Rice Exporting Countries,”“European Budgetary Golden Rule,”“Building South American Pipelines,”“African Economic Boom,”“Third World War,”“Triple A,” and “Famine in Southern Sudan.”.

And etc., etc., and so on. This is a very detailed simulation.

Obama reacts to today's American Spring teabagger march on Washington. As many as 30 million patriots were supposed to show up to overthrow the government.

I wish we could give ANY aptitude to our candidates. Any weekly chapter quiz in high school history would've prevented the Bush Catastrophe, saved a million lives, 30,000 US casualties and the destruction of the greatest economy in the history of man.

But all we need for good presidents is this. He or she must:

- Have completed a four-degree at an accredited university
- Not claim to be supervised by ANY supernatural force
- Have worked a minimum wage job at least one year OR had a major utility suspended for non-payment.
- Speak at least two languages
- Sorry if I get a little bigoted here, but he or she must be under 50 and have at least one child.
- Have an IQ over 130
- Be an American citizen for at least 10 years

Just think of how that would change the GOP primary. It would leave only Marco Rubio, and we would definitely need an IQ test to confirm. And I'm assuming he speaks Spanish. Because, you know, he's Italian.
