Bacon Hater....I must admit that you make me laugh when you defend Obama. Your man crush on him is beyond epic. If Obama said that licking a dog's nuts would improve life.....you would build a kennel. You are the blind followers that we call sheeple.

Bacon Hater....You claim you have a education. Let us look at the timeline that you seem to have a destortion of. Before the Russian proposal....over 60% of America said no to the attacks. Obama did not have enough votes to have a attack. Everyone in the world knew this. The few that said yes were starting to reverse. Obama was getting ready to camerawhore when Russia did the proposal. If Russia would have stayed quiet, then Obama would not have gotten congressional approval and never had the peoples backing. So why not let Obama look like a weak pathetic figure instead of giving him an out?

Obama doesn't need votes from anybody to attack Syria. If he wanted to rain fire, he would've. It's called the War Powers Act. Read it.

Bacon Hater....I did read it and quated it back to you. No president can use it unless American soil has been attack or our province, property(embassies) , our military or if we are in imment danger. Two presidents used this act illegally. Reagan and Clinton, for Contra and Kosovo. The president has 60 days to attack and a 30 days to exit. None of it qualifies under the act. Maybe you should read it.

Bacon Hater.....Obama could have used was power act for Benghazi and did not. But he wants to use it illegally for Syria? So he cares more for other people the Americans. Plus we were not in danger

“The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation,” Obama said in 2008.

You say he has the power and doesnt need the votes, but Obama said he does NOT have the power without the Congress approving. What makes you right and not the president, a Constitutional lawyer? You are right and Obama is wrong? LOL Please, are you that narcissistic? Or is Obama just an idiot who doesnt know what he is saying? The Constitutional professor doesnt know the Constitution and you do?

Obama didn't say he needed the votes of Congress. He doesn't. He chose to go that route. If he wants to attack Syria, he will. And there's nothing the dumb tea baggers can do about it. Not that they can do or have done anything in the past 5 years besides cry about being impotent and splintered.

First, there's no proof that Assad was responsible in the first place. Could have been the rebels (Al Qaeda), could been at the location and accidentally set off during a bombardment by the Syrian army.
Second, Russia's proposed and Assad's agreed to Syria turning over its entire chemical weapons arsenal to an international group, effectively removing the WMD threat from the table. This is back to being a Syrian civil war and, although regrettable, is really not our or anyone else's business. The administration needs to quit beating its collective chest, back off, congratulate the Russians on their apparent defusing of this situation, and come home and deal with the many issues and problems in THIS COUNTRY.
By the way, did anyone catch the Assad interview on PBS ? I may be gullible but I was, rather impressed

Too bad you guys only get your news from dumb tea bagger blogs. There is proof, the rebels aren't al Queda and Assad doesn't store his chemical weapons in 11 different rebel strongholds. Dumbass.

That is saying he needs Congress, from his own mouth. You can continue your delusions and ignore the truth, but there is no denying it, Obama himself said it so you can try and spin it all you like, it wont work.

PHILADELPHIA (AP)— Hillary Rodham Clinton has been in this spot before.

As a senator in 2002, she endorsed military action in Iraq, a decision that came back to haunt her in her failed White House bid six years later.

Now, the former secretary of state and potential 2016 presidential candidate is risking the possibility of a similar political situation in a future campaign with her support of President Barack Obama's call for a U.S.-led military strike in Syria as punishment for the use of chemical weapons.

Tea bagger blags? The longer your post, the more ignorant it becomes. Stick to short sentences Einstein, your arrogance is only exceeded by your ignorance.

What's hilarious is that even true tea baggers in Congress have said that "no one disputes that Assad used chemical weapons." Should've said "no one but the dumbest tea bagger disputes that Assad used chemical weapons."

At least you're understand that Obama doesn't need Congressional authority.
