You have a disgusting mouth and u are trash! Say what u want but guess what? At the end of the day the MAJORITY still voted to keep Bill mayor! Bob is whiney and he continues to make himself l;ook back day after day because he can't handle the fact that he lost. Ruth took the loss with dignity and grace, but oh Bob just can't handle it! lol well my friend u can spew all the filth u want on here, doesnt change who the mayor is and at then end of the day, Im sure Mayor Pauley could give 2 s**** about what u say or think about him!!!
Actually, the majority did NOT vote for Mayor Pauley. If you add the votes that Bobby & Ruth received, you'll find that there were around 350 citizens that voted AGAINST Pauley. Pauley only received about 205 votes. So, the MAJORITY of citizens were very willing to oust ol' Billy this go 'round.
Makes me wonder if Pauley didn't put Ruth up to getting in the race so she could split the vote. If it had been Wells vs. Pauley, there's no doubt that Wells would've been the victor.

Im curious how all these people have "seen the proof" and evidence as they claim, they why has nothing been done? If he committed fraud, he should be fired but if ur just a random citizen and have seen the evidence it makes me wonder if somebody who holds a higher office is sharing information that should be kept confidential until the investigation is over or at least not shared with "friends" or buddies" And if these people in higher power are abusing their authority by sharing information, then maybe they should be investigated for wrong doin.

"down on the corner" please give the idea of Bill putting Ruth up for election as a scheme to rest. I have enjoyed seeing your viewpoints change over the past few months. From being very one-sided to having some reservation and potentially considering candidates other than Bobby...and providing thought provoking statements. At any rate, to your point, that is 100% not true. I had thought over the past few months you would have given consideration to Ruth wanting to run for mayor on her own, alongside her supporters. At council meetings, during her time as an official, she often voted against Bill proposals...in fact, on a number of occasions Bill has publically lashed out at Ruth and a number of other people. I recall Bill over the years being very kind hearted. It worries me that over the past few years he has started to drift into early stages of dementia or Alzheimer’s. I'm not proposing this negatively, only based on more recent interactions v/s knowing him over my lifetime.

I agree with Forward Progress. The very notion that Ruth would subject herself and her family to this just because Bill asked her to not only lacks any basis in fact, it lacks common sense. The election is over. It's time to stop starting and spreading rumors. Bob easily lost 22 votes on his own. It's time to move on and do our part to move Marmet in a positive direction.

Who do you mean by "states"? The WVSP? Secretary of states office? Prosecuting attorney? Attorney General? What proof have you seen? What did he admit to? He never admits anything!
Well if you were at the meeting he said he had a software person write out his check for $8500.00
The state said he wasn't entitled to it, he ignored themand he wanted David to sign it, he already had. That's clearly illegal. I would say a felony! if you atempt to rob a bank that a felony. he atempted to rob the town.As for the election he clearly said he didn't know about the people from Clay County and then he said he did. He took them to the polls and told them to vote and they wouldn't get in trouble, they stated they were from Zclay County, and voted anyway, read the law that's a felony. I could go on but keep your eyes and ears open you will find out soon enough.

I've never heard dirt on Bill in the past - but do notice he doesn't like loud confrontations.

Also, he took care of his invalid wife, had some serious surgery and at HIS AGE bounced back on his feet.

But I don't personally know how he lives, what he eats, secrets he may have - but to the public he appears to be a quiet, dignified elderly man - oh and he has made religous tapes also.

Well over 300 people voted against Bob too, so the majority didn't want him in office either.
