I was fortunate enough to move away from Witcher and I suggest you do the same. If not, I hope you are ok with major drug trafficking, thieves, domestic abusers, and corrupt cops. Not to mention the parade of uneducated, Jerry Springer, meth heads that you and your family will be surrounded by. I hope that you do not have or want kids because you can guarentee them to turn out overweight, addicted to drugs, and unmotivated for any professional success. I say pack your bags and get out while you can!

Why did you move there before checking out the area? I suggest you pack up and get out now while you can! Not unless you don't mind drugs, murders, meth heads, abusive relationships all around you! If you have children get them out of there now unless you don't mind them going into a crack house. There are some really great people up that holler but the crazies, drug using, abusive freaks over populate the good ones.

Yes, you should have checked the place out. Crime has increased where I live and I would not recommed any place up Campbells Creek because the meth heads, thieves - are everywhere. The children that parnts did drugs in front of - of course never got a job because they got hooked young now steal for them instead of getting them from their parents - kids that were spoiled and allowed to do anything they wanted to - yep same thing. And of course sometimes it is whole families from grandparents down two generations that steal and are hooked on drugs/drink, etc. and most of all live off the system too.

A shame, all you can do is stay as alert as possible to the dangers around you.

There are some nice people and Witcher is changing. They even put a subdivision up past the cemetery with brand new homes in it. Times are changing. Don't fret.

Haha! A subdivision of 15 homes doesn't do a thing for the hundreds of trailers and shacks full of drug dealers and worthless trash living on welfare. If you are expecting a handful of new houses to change the rest of that dump then you are in for a long wait, my friend.

Why y'all talk so much shit about witcher? Yea it may have drug heads and stuff but what creek doesn't? Half of most of the world is full of them. Not just witcher so just stop.

Y'all act like it's some place in a dang horror movie or something. It's really not that bad. The bad parts are mostly at the end of the holler tho.

The reasons why people are discussing Witcher is because that is what the lady asked. However, all it takes is one good look around. Just like everywhere else, you can often distinguish the good from the bad....That I would suggest for anyone to do, BEFORE signing a lease..

Let's see...maybe we can start with the "Camp sites" behind the former Fas Chek Sheltons market lunch box and whatever else was in that building..then there are the one room out buildings people are living in...that is less than a 1/4 mile going up Witcher Road...then there is the Dry Branch section....good golly look around you...

And funny thing is the Shelton guy that rents out those ONE ROOMERS, campers and shacks and trailers works for county commission putting notes on people's doors IF SOMEONE IN NEIGHBORHOOD complains about messy yard, porch, etc. whether he thinks it's bad or not ---- Who puts notes on his trashy places - living in one room, where is toilet, connection to sewage, kitchen so you can cook??? BED ? all in one room - nasty...

I suggest you take a better look at Campbell's Creek. Yes it has it bad people but I can guarantee there are way more decent, educated people there than up Witcher. I am not downing either holler, I have friends and family on both but you need not talk trash when you are obviously not intellegent enough to do so.

Unfortunately drugs are everywhere it's ur CHOICE to do them or not so don't just down Witcher that's not the only place drugs are..

If it weren't for Sissonville then Witcher Creek or as some call it Witcher Geek would be the #1 place to get drugs especially meth. The only thing good that comes out of that holla is a hearse transporting another junkie down the road. Place is full of junkies. pill heads, meth heads, pot heads, crack heads and women and men giving head.

Yes its sad that some people due to unfortunate events n their lives have to resort to living within their means.By which I mean living where they can afford to.I love Branch Road!Lived her my entire life.Maybe u should drive up and look around yes their are a handful of trailors.Although I believe all the "shacks" have been dozed down.Thank u and have a shitty day:)
