No one wants to rent anymore, especially in those areas because people are such trash that they can't take care of what they're privileged enough to get.

There is no housing shortage, just a shortage of patience by homeowners.

Well im preapproved for 275000$ but dont want to buy there. I have to finish school and will buy in SC. Privilaged to rent? Why did you even comment smarta$$. Who would want to buy in that area anyway ? I guess the folks that live and breed in UKV are all trash youre stereotyping and ignorant. All people arent the same and I for one take pride in my home renting or not.

You may be an exception to the rule....Preapproved and you want to rent? It is much cheaper to own now more than ever. Property is an investment, no matter where you want to buy later, renting is throwing your money away...but, People even landlords, look at renters as transient, uninvested people who take from the community without giving back...Like they aren't establishing "roots." They don't give them much credit, so they often treat them as they see them...Sad but true....They take their money and act like they have NO responsibility to their renters. There is a list of bad Landlords out in "Cyberspace"....You should check it before you commit... things aren't like they used to be in the old days.

Can you even read?? I never said I wanted to rent, I own my own home!! I never said I was pre-approved...because my home is paid for.
I happen to WORK in the rental business, with properties that I don't own, and I know for a fact that this is the case, shitty tenants are the problem...blame the other people renting, not the landlords!! There is only so much out of pocket people are willing to spend before they lock down on who they rent to...and as property owners, it's their RIGHT to choose who they will or will not rent to!!!

Go talk shit to someone who it applies to!

You should check before you comment!!

YOU were the one talking shit. Perception is independent thought..... You didn't say you were a HOMEOWNER....Bad people are everywhere...OBVIOUSLY

I never said I was preapproved for anything either. You made that up all on your own.

Expressing truth is not "talking shit". Bad tenants make it hard for everyone else, that's not "shit talking", that's FACT!

As a landlord, I can say there is bad and good in all tenants. I've had a few weird ones, a few that was ungrateful and destroyed my home, to the point I started screening applicants and got away from the "HUD" housing because a few of them don't care how much they destroy your home because "they" are not paying the rent and basically live for free off the tax payers. Then you have those renters who really care about the home and do their best to take care of any minor issues, pay their rent on time and sometimes ahead of due date. It doesn't matter what area the rented home is located, you have bad and good in all areas/people. As a landlord, if you give respect you will receive respect! Yes, you have the slumlord, but not all landlords are those. You do have the good ones, who care! I have my rental home monthly inspected and sprayed for pests, I pay for garbage pick-up so there is no question about trash pick-up. I have put out thousands of dollars to keep the home up. And thankful I have the renters I have now in there!! So not all renters or landlords are bad. It is the those few bad eggs, that causes bad names for those who are good!
