Well Glasgow must be running out of $ if they have the renta cop watching the parking on the sidewalk in front of the post office. I think they should focus more on the kids not wearing helmets on their bicycles, drugs with the mayors son the list could go on and on!

Let's see... where to even begin? For one, if you would park where you are supposed to park then you wouldn't get tickets. Really people? It's ten extra feet to walk from where you are supposed to park... How lazy are you? For two, stop talking crap about the police and help them do something with the drug problem. If you know something let them know! Another thing, they are not rent a cops, rent a cops are security guards. Can security guards arrest your ass and put you in jail? I think not! One more thing; you only talk shit about them when you get a ticket or do something you're not supposed to do (Park in front of the post office, talk on the cell phone, steal, etc.) But when your ass is in trouble they are the first ones to come and they save your asses!!!!! And that's even after you talk all this shit about them! So next time before you call 911 because someone is breaking into your house, beating you, or trying to murder you... Think about all the shit you talked about the cops coming to your rescue!!!! And just so you know, they are working on keeping the drugs down, but they have more drug addicts than they do cops, so if you want something done then try calling them and giving them a tip (you'd be surprised how quickly they can get something done if they have something to go on) I mean what do you expect? Have the drug addicts fall out of the sky into their laps? Get real! And if you have or see kids on bicycles without helmets, then maybe you should tell their parents instead of complaining on the internet... Don't blame the cops for your bad parenting!!! Control your damn kids, it's not the cops responsibility (they are not babysitters)!!! Also you people know the city ordinance, and if you don't then read it! It's your city so obviously you need to know the rules!

There has been a statewide child helmet law for years. It has never been enforced by either parents or police. Parents are responsible for their kids, but the police are suppose to enforce it.
As for the parking situation, it's not always the cars that park in front of the PO that is causing all the problems, It's also the parking on the correct side of the road, they don't always get close enough to the curb to leave enough room for cars to get between them. As for the drugs, it's a known fact that they are all over the place, but closed eyes and ears aren't going to help the problem. Also when the police are called for a problem, why does it take them 20 or 30 minutes to get to it? Because they are always somethere out of town, instead of staying in town where they should be patroling. If they are in town, it should take no more than 5 minutes to get on scene of a call.
