It is really sad that people do not check on older people during the snow storm. They could at least offer to shovel off the walks and driveways.
I'm glad I am close to where I can check and help my parents, sure could not depend on some neigbors in the upper end of Chesapeake.

It's not like it used to be. Where you check on your elderly neighbors to see if you can help in any way. Maybe pick them up some things from the store or just shovel their drive and walk ways. The only time kids these days want to help is if you are going to pay them or they plan on stealing something. Very sad.
