Explain how filling a void with a newtonian fluid is going to cause an Earthquake?

When over 10+ million gallons of crap go into that void, it is no longer a void. It is pumped under high pressure and causes the ground and nearby faults to move. Pressure causes movement. That's why they use high pressure fluid to open up the ground so the gas/oil can be released. How many earthquakes do you know of before they started injecting this chemical laden water? Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.

So the fact that techtonics plates move continiously has nothing to do with it. I guess we need to stop all forms of mining and go back to candles to satisfy everyone Stone Age here we come

I'm sorry .They are lying about the chemicals we use. They stated that the you could buy the same at the grocery store.Wrong You can't buy hydrochloric acid, let alone 20,000 gallons of it.I know because I run the pump truck that put it down the well.We use all kinds of terrible things. All in the name of progress. We are cancers,we are killing our host the earth.

You are so right!! They think that we "dumb hillbillies" will believe anything they say. Wrong! It doesn't take a genius to realize that when they pump at high pressure we have quakes, and when they stop we don't! We let the promise of a little $$$ daze us into selling our souls to these companies! Please! Does anyone think they will actually tell us the truth!!?? Of course they won't tell us---other areas won't LET them pump their chemicals into their counties. We should not be the waste dumping facility for big business! The will come, pump our beautiful county full of toxic waste, then leave us to pick up the contaminated pieces!
sorry

even if it does cause quakes do you think you'll be able to do anything about it? name one politician in west virginia who would go up against these companies and who actually has a chance of being elected into office. face it- you can't do shit about it.
