They just got a settlement check I heard and bought a new vehicle. Sadly it will all go to a poker machine and alcohol. Maybe she could payback the state for all the assistance she has got over the years. That trashy ass B**** who does nothing but sits on her fat ass and drinks while her kids run all over town cussing people out. It's sad they are a product of their environment and can't help it their parents are waste of space but they are disrespectful and filthy.

Step away from Topix and report what you see. The schools are always aware of children in need from abuse or neglect. Have you done your part, as an adult, to attempt to protect these children by reporting what you see to the authorities?
It is an obligation of all of us to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

Sorry but it does not matter how many times people report them. Neither the school nor CPS does anything. They always seem to find a way to get out of it. The school sees these children coming in with dirty clothes and what not, but still doesn't do anything about it. So therefor, if the school and CPS do nothing, what exactly are we supposed to do? There's simply nothing we can do, other than watch these kids run all over town, cursing, running in front of trains, cars etc.

EVER HEARD the phrase "THE SQUEAKY WHEEL GETS THE GREASE?" reporting more than once is NOT a BAD thing..
Just because YOU don't SEE a "change" or hear of a response doesn't mean that authorities aren't working behind the scene and aware. Some reports of neglect or abuse are SUBJECTIVE. What YOU consider "dirty clothes" and what legally defines "dirty" as neglect are two different things.
You have to consider this: if authorities are DOING THEIR JOB...You WON'T SEE IT being done.

those poor kids dont have any supervision at all. U see them on the streets all hours of the night. They are always dirty, not just a little but tp the point u can tell that nobody makes them clean themselves and they keep lice. I know that they have been reported a few times and she has been reported to DHHR to and nothing happens. She also sells her child's ADHD medicine too. For some reason the system or "authorities" keep looking the other way

if this is going on than call CPS again and make sure that you leave names so that they can talk to people that have witnessed this. Often CPS talks to people and everyone tells them that they have never seen anything. Mskamish is right some reports arc considered to be subjective. It has to meet certain things before CPS can do anything.

I am far from ignorant! I don't like the system either but CPS has to follow certain guidelines and until those guidelines are changed than there is nothing that CPS can do. You can check out the DHHR website and read chapter 49 regarding CPS.

I don't know what u consider "dirty" but my definition of dirty is a kid coming to school stinking from not bathing and clothes so filthy it looks like they have worn them for days. Not to mention their little bodies are covered in dirt, their shoes are falling off because they are sizes too big and they have lice. Im not talking about somebody who is poor and wears hand me downs, I'm talking about straight up filthy clothes from lack of parents taking time to wash their clothes or put any effort into grooming the children at all. Before their old house burned down, u could see the roaches running up and down the side of their trailor and the stinch of it was terrible. So if that doesn't justify as dirty and neglected, I don't know what does!!!

My point exactly. "YOUR" definition of Dirty. My point is that the guidance of the WV Legal Code Sec (49)has to be met. Right to Counsel, Improvement Periods noted, lack there of and the PRIORITY of cases to be determined. Then you have the need for housing, are you a Foster Parent? Do you have any idea HOW MANY are needed in this state? People are too "METHED" up to count; There simply aren't enough placement houses to go around.
