Almost Poetic Justice. It's sad a life had to be lost all because he made such a stupid decision to steal a car.

Sounds to me like JUSTICE was served. I wish that they all would have died, those no good thieving hoodlums. They got what the deserved and I hope the rest of them are treated just as fairly by the justice system as Jelani Adom Green was by GOD.

WOW that's rather harsh don't you think? We're talking about stealing a car not killing someone or something of that nature. Granted there is no doubt that they should have suffered some consequences but to say you wish that they all would have died? That's pretty rough.

If anyone gets a chance go to the General district Courts web site and look up this fine citizens police record. Just for the city of Hampton he was a disgrace for the city. I guess he never got a fair shake from society.

I'm a criminal paralegal so going to the courts website isn't an issue. While I'm sure the man was no saint (obviously since he is stealing cars) saying he deserved to die is a bit much.

I didn't say he deserved to die. I just wanted people to see what the city of Hampton and the surrounding communities lost.

Jelani is in God's judgement now and I thank him for not having killed other than himself.

Well is good to know that you think so poorly of my brother, but the truth of the matter is nothing he did nothing worth dying. I'm also a paralegal and I agree that he broke the law, but nowhere in the USA does stealing a car warrant the death penalty or any other punishment besudes jail time. But what gets me is that you think the right to even judge my brother only knowing one side of the story, being going into the legal system I thought you would've known there is always two sides to a story. But GOD bless you Justice and all blessings to you...

I don't believe you rad my post correctly. Had you of, you would have noticed I said that people were very cruel in saying that he deserved to die. I am sorry for you loss and he didn't deserve to die that way. I said he deserved to suffer the consequences of his actions but not to die.

uh yeah, doesn't matter what the other side of the story is. Let me guess, he was a great person just turning his life around, after he finished stealing the vehicle. Next you will say he was profiled and what not.

What do you want the "white man" to do about it? Do you think we are omnipotent? Before anyone can "do" anything the black community has got to get its own house in order.
