It was a pursuit that started in chesapeake and went into portsmouth. Canal Dr and Military Hwy are is where the pursuit started and that is in the city of chesapeake. The K-9 officer was responding to assist since most stolen car chases end up in foot pursuits after the vehicle pursuit is over.
