Cannonball. Wake up and get your son outta there. There are much better players. Your son can't kick. The Noble boy can. You son can't hit. Take a pick, anybody is better than that. Is there anything Jacob can do? Oh wait! He's the best ass kisser out there!I bet you're a proud dad knowing what you've taught him.

It's not just about Jacob not being a kicker which he is not, its like you said let some of the other boys that are standing on the side lines play. They maybe surprised by what happens. They might win or at least give those boys that are at practice every day working their butts off a chance to show their skills. If it doesn't work there will be no loss.

Exactly. Chesapeake has had some real talent over the past few years and I don't mean the coaching staff. The coaches waste the talent they have and now just play their own kids instead of the ones who work their butts off and ought to get a chance on the field.

The only coach who has a kid on the team is Cannonball, so only one coach's kid plays. And he does deserve to play. Daivis' are all way out of high school, Clark has little ones, Rice has girls...

Ok then lets put aside the "coaches kids" and think about all the other boys that they have that are capable of playing football and they still don't play. Do you think with that many players that the "coaches kids" and some others really need to play on offense and defense? There really isn't a need to just play 11 or 12 of the same boys!

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but tearing down a kid is something real men do. You have a beef with CB, go talk to him like a real man. Oh, that's right, you guys are internet tough guys who have big vaginia's who are too scared to be real men and actually communicate. Where were you all when CB was winning middle school titles left and right? Where were you when he was something like 60-2 his first 4 years of high shcool basketball jv? Where were you when he was winning tons of games in youth league. I guess he just forgot everything over night because he favors his son to the point he cheats other kids out of valuable minutes on an 0-3 team. I guess his first son was awful too and the only reason he started for 4 years was he was the coaches kid. Lets face reality all of you cry baby dads out there whinning because your kid isn't playing, the team sucks. Your kid sucks too. DO you really think if there were someone that good and obvious to the coaching staff they wouldn't get Jake out of there? Give me a break. You people need to grow balls and get a life. Your kids are not good, this team is not good, there is limited talent on this team. Reality, you should try it!

Don't blame the coaching staff or players,Its the dead head (FANS) That sit in the bleachers,And talk about other people!(CHEER) the kids on, Kids feed off of that.(Fan Support) Chesapeake has the WORST fan support in the tri state area. You don't have to stand, you can sit and be LOUD-N-PROUD

Luke did not start 4 years in HS. He was out his Sophomore year with a bad knee if memory serves me correctly, and his freshmen year he didn't start any unless it was special teams.

Cannonball is a good man, who in my dealings with him in the past have always been fair. Some of you youngsters need to look up liable in the dictionary, because what you say on here is nothing short of it. The need to tear others down normally comes from those who have accomplished very little in life, and I have a feeling that is the case here. The last I checked, and it has been a few years I admit, but the buck stops with Coach Davis as far as who gets on the field.

I was just using him as an example 2001 lol to strengthen my point. Did he start too because of who his Dad was? No. He was better then whoever was next in line. I remember him being a kick and punt returner his freshmen year, I dunno, just saying you would know better then me. It just better furthers my point that these are kids on this thread that have no clue what they are talking about.

Anyways, my point is you have a problem, go talk to the man or Coach Davis.

We aren't trying to tear anyone down. And there is massive talent on that team that isn't being used. Explain to me why Jacob kicks and misses every time when Tommy noble is 6 for 6?? That doesn't make sense unless he is the "coaches" son and gets picked over everyone in there. Another example, the coaches kids friends get picked over everybody else too. Why do we have a tiny kid out there centering when Blackburn is obviously better. The little center can't even long snap without screwing it up. And his butt is on the ground. If you watch Blackburn, you can see how straight his back is when he is snapping. So how does this happen? And don't tell me there isn't talent. And btw, I'm not cheering if there isn't anything to cheer about.

There is not massive talent on this team. This team is at best average. The teams that I played for in 96 and 97 were exceptional, this team is average. They are not a bad team, but face the facts, the first 5 teams we play are playoff teams and we are not. We are not as good as these teams. We could win the final 5 and win the conference, but there is not massive talent on this team. Why are you calling out kids on this site? Be a man and go talk to the coaches instead of putting down kids. You know they read this stuff right? My guess is you are Blackburn's Dad (parent). That center is not tiny unless you consider 5'11, 185 tiny. He is probably a much better athlete with better technique and better feet is my guess. If you don't want to cheer, don't cheer. Chesapeake could do with a few less idiots anyways. BTW, there is little talent on this team.

I know the family I can assure you Luke did not suck nor did he start because of cannon. Jake starts because he is the best at his position, if he weren't he wouldn't be starting. No, the kids on this team do not suck, but they are very limited. This is an average team. Time to move forward and stop playing the blame game. We should all go cheer our butts off instead of be on here calling out others. I remind you kids read this thing and I am sure you all are damaging their confidence and it is not helping them to respect their coaches.

I wish I was 5'11 when I started at center! Ha. 5'8" maybe. The o-line my Jr. and Sr. seasons didn't have anyone anyone that could touch 6 feet tall if I can remember correctly, and one could say those where some of our best seasons.

BTW, I am NOT Blackburn's dad, nor am I even related to the kid. I just see the talent. Go to one of the JV teams if you wanna see what I mean. You guys are always quick to put down the jv when they have the better record.
