I think he is a 9th grade kid that deals with all the stuff other 9th grade kids deal with; and maybe a little more. I think that he will act somewhat mature one day, and totally immature the next; responsible one day and totally irresponsible the next. He will make good decisions on any given day only to make bad decisions on any OTHER given day. I think he probably worries what other people think about him, about how he looks to other people, about what he should and shouldn't say, but it embarrasses him that he thinks this way, so he acts like none of it bothers him. I think he will make a big deal out of something small sometimes, and then let something that is truly important slide. I think he wonders why some kids don't talk to him anymore, and wonders if he did something wrong. I think he spends a lot of time just trying to be 'cool' and fit in. Just like EVERY OTHER 9TH GRADER ON THIS PLANET!

So how about stepping away from this thread; which will more than likely end up being a source of pain for him, and go on about living YOUR life. Because simply by reading your intitial question, I can tell that you have a LOT of growing to do, a lot of maturing to do, a lot of self-evaluation to do, and a lot of time needed to develope things like compassion, empathy, and caring for other human beings to be wasting a lot of time here on this site. Question answered?

Don't get caught up in what a bunch of people think of you. Be yourself, treat people kind, stand up for those who can't, and just be the best person you can be. Those same people that you wonder what they think of you....you will not even remember some of their names 10 years from now. So how important could their opinion POSSIBLY be?
