Seems I've heard some one say I'm not a crook before.Declaring that "I am not a crook," President Nixon vigorously defended his record in the Watergate case tonight and said he had never profited from his public service.

The FBI and SBI do not serve warrants taking guns and etc. "wrapping up loose ends". There will be more indictments.

Expectations are high for further "wrapping up loose ends" Mr. Alfred.

Also, your hypothesis is historically correct.

BTW, getting off the subject of the Cherryville Police Department and the adventurous roads. Does anyone know when Cherryville will get the makeover that made headlines a few months ago? What they should do to Main Street is make it a one way and then put parking spaces diagonal, instead of parallel. Only have parking on one side and there would be plenty enough for everyone and it wouldn't be so conjested in town. lol. Really, it is hard to find a space to park and there are not many businesses in town. As for UPS, FEDEX, there could be a space purposely marked for the carriers as well as handicapped.

Always have wondered how some Cherryville residents knew things and some didn't and wanted to be the first to tell what they heard or saw just like a child. The news stated that the federal and state officials were wrapping up. But then, it was my understanding that the Cherryville Police chief wasn't arrested in the beginning; he was taking retirement. If he had guns, we never saw them, but I assume you did; you must live near him to have seen guns. The warrant, wasn't an arrest warrant, it was to search; at least that is what my assumption was.

Wow. What is it you are trying to say? As far as the guns that were taken that was discovered from the helicopter news footage which shows the FBI agents taking them. I did not have to be a neighbor of Mr. Burgess to know that. And yes you are correct it was a search warrant not an arrest warrant.
And calling me a child? Because I make a comment? You must have not understood my meaning. I was disputing what the Ex Chief said about the incident being a wrapping up operation. There were no interviews with anyone else, besides the Ex Chief, that described it as a wrapping up operation. Again I heard those comments on TV news footage. I did not have to be his neighbor to hear them. My point is that the FBI is not in the habit of serving search warrants to "wrap up" investigations.
And while I am at it let me say that the Ex Chief must have had a lot of disposable income to invest in a 1970 or 1969 corvette in such beautiful condition sitting in his driveway. I also very much admire his pool and pool house. and by the way did I see another classic car just inside his garage? Again my observations were made by watching video news reports. I have never even been on the Ex chiefs street let alone being a close neighbor.

And as to the assumption that you made I refer you to the first 3 letters of the word assumption.

.....don't believe everything you hear and half of what you see. You know how some are known to s t r e t c h things. This is not an assumption; this is a know fact!!
