Do not buy your meat from Walmart in Cherryville.. I shop there all the time and the meat is always bad by the next day. I was in there 2 days ago and the Hamburger meat was BROWN!!!! They were selling bad meat. According to the date on package its stll good, although its brown and smelled liked feet..I took pictures and I think I will see if someone at the health department might be able to go a inspection.. Lets hope so before someone gets sick or worse!!!!

I learned my lesson about the Wal-Mart meat dept when thet first opened in this great town of White Pines......oh... Cherryville. They are gross!! My wife died of E-Coli and it won't be long before it happens again, thanks to our caring, loving Wal-Mart.

You have said enough and I do agree about the meat department and also Walmart in Cherryville, itself. They don't ever stock the shelves, it seems like. Most of the time when I shop there, the shelves are empty. They will carry items that you get used to and then all of a sudden, they quit. Furthermore, I don't know who cleans the restrooms or makes repairs, but they need to fire them and get someone that knows what do do. There is no running HOT water and only a trickle of water that comes out the faucets. Gaston County Health Department needs to be called about this because this is a health hazard. My opinion is, they should close it down and open a Publix grocery store.

To Hooey13, what choice do we here in White Pines? I try to visit Ora's Supermarket in Shelby as often as I can. Good meat, good produce, and good prices. It is owned by one of our own.....as far I know.

I don't venture out that much, but will go here one day soon. Very seldom go to Shelby! Thanks for the advise!

The management at our Wal-Mart are idiots. They keep the good products in their stockrooms and leave out the rancid meat, I guess for un-educated suckers of which this town is full of. They have no problem at all risking the health of their customers in the pursuit of the all-mighty dollar. That's the "new normal" nowadays.
