I noticed this place does NOT have a restaurant sanitation rating. Why is that? Isn't it a law for ALL restaurants/places that serve food be inspected by the state? They are right across the street from the Court House, and CLEARLY don't have a restaurant rating. Does the state even inspect them, and do they have to follow NC regulations?

The BIggest thing is, "Why don't they display a restaurant (they serve food) sanitation rating like all other places who serve food?" Are they exempt from the law or something?

Here you can find what you are looking for. Copy Paste the link in your address bar. As far as a paper sign in the place, I have not noticed if it is there or not.Looks like it keeps a Grade A. with some minor stuff wrong.

Thank you! That's good though. I thought it was a law to have a placard posted in the window if you serve food to the public. If it is, then the court house is a BUNCH OF MORONS. I ate there and didn't see a health placard, which is why I asked the question.

I have driven by there a few times and have seen it posted in the window near the top left side. I did not see it there yesterday though.

lol, I got paroled the day before you I guess, since you was not there when I slept with your husband. IS THAT WHAT YOU WANTED TO HEAR BACK?
I think not.
Say whaaaaaaaaat? I have no clue who any kathy bartles is for one thing, and another, I have never in my life been in a jail or prison to ever have been paroled.
Grow up, get your own life straightened out before you go blabbing to others that you have no clue who they are.

Lorna and Brian have given so much to the Lincolnton High School Marching Band and many more activities. Like #8 said above greatly underrated. I was fortunate to have spent many days and nights with Brian helping with props etc. with the band, and he does all this without even a sign. I wish #1 would have ask them to see the sign. These are 2 good people that love what they do and try not to overprice their great food so even the less fortunate ones can get a bite to eat at a fair price. Support them so they can continue to support the schools, and many more things in this county. This is a staple of Lincolnton without all the glamour. Fancy slogans and bright lights at other places only makes the price of food go up. Sorry, got on a roll..lol... Good work City Lunch.

1. What does this have to do with the City Lunch?
2. Some kind of respect you have for others or yourself for that matter to get on a forum and say such a thing.
3. Start your own forum if you want attention and disrespect from other posters.
4.It is there business NOT YOURS or OURS!

Being from Cherryville, I have to say I have always liked City Lunch. As a child, my mother could feed 4 hungry kids with those great hot dogs for next to nothing. It has always been a great alternative to those who don't like the robot-like food and service of the chain restaurants. I regret that my present work schedule prevents me from dining there more often. This area is fast running out of hometown eating establishments like this. Automated food service can never replace hard work, good food at a great price, and people who make you feel at home.

Lincolnton. Town of sociopaths and psychopaths. Neighbor stabbing neighbor in the back. Talking about others behind their back. And yeah you guessed it topic on city lunch turns into more b.s. from who other than someone looking to hurt another. Wow. Very typical of your town. Everyone around your town knows it. It's even talked about as being a pit of vipers on chat lines. Famous people have been through and all say the same thing in that lincolnton is the creepiest place they've ever been. A dark cloud hangs over you all ' s town. Don't get mad at yourselves though just because kids go around with hopeless expressions and sadness in their hearts it should make you all feel good. I noticed that most 92 percent of those between 18 and 25 get the hell out. Yet you act clueless with lack of empathy as to why.

I don't care. When I lived in lincolnton nc it was awesome. Maybe a little old and in need of a few things but you couldn't and still can't beat their prices. Hot dogs were great and their chili and homemade entrees tasted awesome. Screw the court street grill. Everything I've eaten there was nasty or cheap in quality. Never disappointed at city lunch. Like to see it grow into something bigger and expand.

Well, most of those out of state rednecks are from Lincoln County, returning HOME and saving money, eating out at a place they remember from days past. Not that they are really rednecks for only people who troll topix post to always give bad opinions are the true rednecks. And yes, we feel right at home eating their HOME cooking!
