Obama's bought and paid for by the guy that owns Facebook. and you small minded idiots keep talking about the Koch brothers like you're privy to some great privileged information. The Great Leader also had a nice fireside chat with his boy Warren Buffett, I think he's Buffet's Bitch.

Yeah, as an independent, I think I'll continue to support the TEA Party!
Weren't we living way beyond our means during the Bush years? It is just puzzling to me why the tea party did not exit during the eight years of the Bush administration when spending was out of control going sky high and the ecomony bottomed out. Why did it only come into existence when Obaba was seated as President in 2009?

Since Bush had not paid for his wars when he left office in 2009, are you putting this expense in the Obama column of debt as his record? Is the economic failure Bush left us with needing a stimulus to get us out of the hole placed in the Bush column? Can you say "reality?"

Can you say, " I am avoiding the question because I don't have an answer I like". First of all, I don't worship Obama. I worship no man. The fact is that you and other right wingers like to place Bush's expenses in the Obama column and following it by saying that Obama is driving this country to the financial brink, ignoring the debt that Bush left on the books. Remember, there was no Tea Party during the Bush administration to curtail his spending. Why was that? It only came into existence when Obama was elected with the Republicans thinking that they could place all the blame on a Democrat President. Do you have any defense to this statement? If so, let's hear it.

I would think that the brave men who fought in WWII would like to see the WWII memorial before they die? Do you think this may just be a good way to thank them for their bravery, and committed service?

Here's your reality: "George H. W. Bush was president during four years of steady GDP and expenditure growth, starting with a GDP of about $5 trillion in 1989. There were about $2 trillion in expenditures in 1989. At the end of his term, in 1992, the U.S. had a GDP of about $6.5 trillion. The U.S. government expenditures in 1992 were $2 trillion.

President Bill Clinton came into office with a U.S. GDP of $7 trillion in 1993. The expenditures of the U.S. government in 1993 were about $2 trillion. During Clinton’s eighth year of office, the GDP had greatly grown while the amount of U.S. expenditures rose moderately. The last year that Clinton was in office, 2000, showed the lowest expenditure to GDP ratio. That ratio was 32.6 percent. The GDP in 2000 was about $10 trillion. The U.S. expenditures of 2000 were about $3.2 trillion.

George W. Bush took office in 2001, and the GDP of the U.S. was about $10.3 trillion. The U.S. expenditures in 2001 were about $3.3 trillion. For the last year of George W. Bush’s two terms, in 2008, the U.S. GDP was about $14 trillion. The U.S. expenditures in 2008 were about $5 trillion.

President Barrack Obama took office in 2009 with the highest expenditure to GDP ratio. The ratio was 44.7 percent. In 2009, the U.S. GDP was about $14 trillion. U.S. expenditures were about $6.2 trillion. In 2010, the GDP is about $14.6 trillion. U.S. expenditures were about $7 trillion."During his eight years in office, President Reagan spent 15.9 percent of the expenditures on pensions. He spent 9.9 percent of the expenditures on health care. Education made up 14.4 percent of the expenditures. During that time, 19.2 percent of the expenditures were spent on defense. Welfare made up 9.4 percent of expenditures. The rest of the expenditures, 31.2 percent, went to miscellaneous expenses.

During his four years in office, President George H. W. Bush spent 15 percent of the expenditures on pensions. 10.7 percent of the expenditures were spent on health care. Education made up 14.4 percent of the expenditures. During that time, 16.7 percent of the expenditures were spent on defense. Welfare made up 8.5 percent of expenditures. The rest of the expenditures, 34.7 percent, went to miscellaneous expenses.

During the two terms of President Bill Clinton, 16.5 percent of the expenditures were spent on pensions. 14.1 percent of the expenditures were spent on health care. Education made up 17.3 percent of the expenditures. During that time, 12.4 percent of the expenditures were spent on defense. Welfare made up 9 percent of expenditures. The rest of the expenditures, 30.7 percent, went to miscellaneous expenses.

During the two terms of President George W. Bush, 16.3 percent of the expenditures were spent on pensions. 16.1 percent of the expenditures were spent on health care. Education made up 16.5 percent of the expenditures. During that time, 12.6 percent of the expenditures were spent on defense. Welfare made up 8.9 percent of expenditures. The rest of the expenditures, 29.6 percent, went to miscellaneous expenses.

In President Barrack Obama’s first two years in office, 15.2 percent of the expenditures were spent on pensions. 16.5 percent of the expenditures were spent on health care. Education made up 15.5 percent of the expenditures. During that time, 13.4 percent of the expenditures were spent on defense. Welfare made up 10.6 percent of expenditures. The rest of the expenditures, 28.8 percent, went to miscellaneous expenses." Please keep in mind that these numbers reflect EIGHT years of Bush in office vs TWO years for Obama. IF you can multiply, finish Obama's term.

President Obama’s income in 2011 was $789,674. That’s $746,674 more than the average American’s income. In 2012, this amount was $608,611, as reported on his federal income tax return. That means he doesn’t have to worry about his mortgage (if he had one), credit report or grocery budget. Of course the job is much harder, there is more stress, and everyone is constantly looking over your shoulder…

So where does his income come from? The annual salary for U.S. President is only 46% of President Obama’s salary. Investment income, including interest on Treasury notes and bills, accounts for 1% of his income. The rest? Yep, book royalties! The Presidents salary might only be 46% of his total earnings, but it is still a healthy $400,000 per year. If the President was paid hourly, he would earn $223.84 per hour for a forty hour work week. And although the First Lady works almost as hard as (or even harder than) the President, she only earns $10,000 a year.In addition to his annual salary, the President has many perks for being in office. These perks, which include a $19,000 entertainment budget, add up to $1,169,000 annually. For most Americans, perks such as these would be expenses coming out of their paychecks. And talk about a Christmas bonus! When the First Family celebrated Christmas in their home state of Hawaii, taxpayers alone spent over $7 million dollars. Having a high income is good, but the number that really counts is the net worth. If a person has a negative net worth, even if they earn millions of dollars, they are still in debt. However, the President does not have to worry about that. His net worth is estimated to be $14 million when he leaves office. How do former presidents earn a living? Speaking engagements and public appearances provide some income for former presidents. The higher income often comes through writing autobiographies of their time in office. Former President George W. Bush received a $7 million dollar advance for his story, and Former President Bill Clinton received $15 million advance. What about Obama? He is predicted to receive a $10 million advance. Sounds easy? Maybe, but the chances of become president are 1 in 10 million. Maybe that job isn’t so bad after all." Gee, what a story to tell...."How I Bankrupted America". Great.
