I just want to say how disrespectful I think it was to keep people working while a man was laying there dead and to not close for the day.It just goes to show you the Almighty dollar runs that company!

Work people like slaves, no time off, make you work 10 - 14 hours straight with no warning, give you points for leaving early, give you points for being late. Seven points and no job. They literally wirked this man ti death!!!

I agree. The way the company operates is really stressful. One person is required to do so much, with no help. People are pushed pushed pushed to get product out, and if not, then they are wrote up and constantly talked down to. Some people here work 12 hour shifts 7 days a week under constant headache. Its surprising something like this hasn't happened sooner!

rsi doesnt care what happens they just care about the money hopefully the truth comes out and rsi will have to pay for what happen because its a lost of a human being and from what i was told the people there work under so much pressure and if its truth that he use a different name its because of the situation here in the U.S we need the immigration reform to help these people that work like him under so much pressure. noboby should have to work so hard for so little.I truly send my prayers to the family and i hope everyone can also do a prayer for him. I doubt rsi does required maintenance or follows safety procedures since all they carre about is money. Did the modify the machine to speed up production.was holzman a party to this. I hope the police and osha do thier job.

This man came into work late with a hangover, and then proceeded to work on a machine without following protocol.(Locking the machine and tagging it so other employees would know it was being worked on.)
The machine operator had no idea this guy was in the machine, and turned it on.
Lack of good judgement got this man killed.
I feel bad for his family, and hope others can learn a lesson from this.

I don't think anything was meant by someone making a comment that he was illegal. Truth is, RSI might be in a whole lot of trouble if (I am sure he was illegal); going under a different name. When you are hired in the USA, the company that is hiring is supposed to fill out the proper paper work for the state and federal on any new or rehired employee and this is a big NO NO if the company doesn't. This goes for re-hires as well. If RSI didn't fill the proper paper work out; shame on them!!

Yes, most do as you say and I bet you are in the bag too! It is our right to do as you say, b((i))tch. I am sure those in other countries that are BUYING US OUT, don't have the right to b((i))tch or they may be arrested! How many pounds of bacon are you buying this year?

This doesn't make any sense. If the man "locked" and "tagged" the machine so other employees would know it was being worked on, then why did another employee turn the machine on in the first place? Or did you mean that the employee didn't lock and tag the machine like he was supposed to; thus, nobody knew he was in the machine? It really doesn't matter now one way or the other, because the employee is no longer with us. I only hope that nothing like this happens again and I pray that his family can forgive. As for RSI, it is only (1) in one million companies that have got by with so much disrespect for employees.
