If the records were completely removed from the courthouse to a new location, would we have enough space left for the courtroom space we need? The article doesn't address obvious questions like that. If so, let's do that rather than build more combined use space that will have record space again competing with courtroom space in years to come. Courts in one building, records elsewhere, so neither can cramp the other when they both grow.
I want to see plans that look more to the future than what I'm reading about vs more of the same that got us where we are now. |
