I gotta say that Furman and the uniforms dress code is a step in the right direction, Now if they will just carry that over to all the school related activities meaning the ball games and the prom and anything that has to do with the school it will be great,

The prom kig and queen and court should also have to have a dress code, the candidates I saw at the ball game the other night was rediculous, one of the guys wore a knock off Roger Rabbit suit and had what looked like them dreadlocks, what a pity....

I love the uniforms at Furman now. But, that should be as far as it goes. They have to wear their uniforms all day. After school let them wear what they want, except for those saggy pants.

if they said no baggie pants then there is an attorney here that I am sure would make a discrimination case out of it and sue the school, I believe thats part of why they started with uniform dress codes in the first place

I used to go to Furman and they was always talking about uniforms. Glad I don't go there anymore cuz now they have no personality or individuality.

well I think its a darn good thing as now there arent any gang colors, and it is also teaching some of these kids some discipline and manners which both are severly lacking in todays society, I hope they make every school in the district go to uniforms and from a talk I had with one of the asst. principles it may very well happen next year....YAY!!!!
