Small towns are known for gossip, and is where everybody pretty much knows everybody. I have some things to say. Be careful what you gossip about. Make sure you know enough facts about things before you go talking to someone else about things. You might just end up costing a person a whole lot, especially when that person did nothing wrong. Have some control over what you say and think before you talk. I know these things, I used to live in little old Dearing, KS. Seems like everbody knows everybodies business in these small towns. So please folks, think before you say something about someone else, get more facts before you go talking.

Thanks for the responses. I hope that this column will get something started here. I don't even like to listen to who did what to who or who did this or did that. Just a bunch of nonsense. Some people have nothing better to do except sit there and find something bad in every situation just to have some stuff to gossip about. I know none of us are perfect, but a lot a us are trying to live life the best we can, and keep ourselves and our children protected from the filth of the world. And gossip is part of that filth.
