If only we had not lost (2) husbands, if only we had not lost (2) brothers, if only we had not lost (2) fathers, if only we had not lost (2) best friends, if only we had not lost the (2) men(almost 4 years ago) that equaled all this plus much more,,,, what would have these men been today????? Please try to get the family and friends some answers on who killed these two men Mr. Dierks.

Has anyone considered contacting one of the unsolved mystery shows about doing an episode on this tragedy? I think the families involved need to make the decision because it could be terribly painful for them but they have suffered so much, the possibility of resolution might be worth it. Possibly if someone with some PR skills approached the producers they could be persuaded. The publicity might generate enough renewed interest that law enforcement could get the break they need to prosecute those involved in this hateful crime. I think sometimes the shows are successful because of the culprit’s ego, they love the 15 minutes of fame and can’t help bragging. Maybe someone has an in with Bill Kurtis, does he still do American Justice? This being his hometown, it might make a more compelling argument.

I have thought alot about trying to get one of the news shows to tell the story but don't know who or how to get a hold of anyone. I did have a friend in advertising put together an ad for Tues the anniversay of Mac and Mike's deaths. I do know Bill Kurtis but I don't know if he has the America Justice. I would take any suggestion anyone might have. I have alot of faith in God and do know he is working on this!!! I also have alot of faith in Sheriff Bobby so let's don't let these terrible murders go unsolved!!! Thanks

Bill Kurtis does do the American Justice show on A&E.

I'm not a big A&E watcher but I went on-line and found Bill does still do the American Justice as well as a show called Cold Case Files. I don't know what their criteria is but maybe your case would be a candidate for one show or the other. It's such a long shot that I would be cautious about it but if you have someone you trust who has all of the current facts about the case, maybe you could get them to start a campaign. I think that the person who posts here as “Tired of rude people” and those who’ve written about getting the medias attention onto this case are on the right track and that this is the best chance to turn over every stone. Think about it – someone out there saw or heard something that could be a lead to busting the culprits. Right? If so, they probably don’t know that what they heard or saw would be important to this case or maybe they aren’t even aware of this case or they would have come forward already. Right?
I am posting here now to offer to help those of you who have the inclination to attempt to get a publicity campaign going. I would be willing to act as a consultant – free of charge – to those of you who are committed to Mac and Mike and their friends and family finding peace and whoever did this to be brought to justice.
Hello. I posted here once before with a poorly worded attempt to offer to be of service if I could. In return I was insulted harshly and meanly judged. Not only was I not given any benefit of the doubt that it was even a possibility that my intentions could have been good, but my integrity as a human being was besmirched and some went out of their way to clarify my identity even though I was obviously not trying to hide anything as I used my entire name and was doofy enough to even put up my private email address. Now, while in hind-sight I do see that I could have worded my offer to help better, I don’t think it was cruel or deserved the response I got.
So why am I here? I am asking myself the same question. For some reason I care about this case and Mac and Mike and am touched by the pain those they left behind feel and the lack of peace you are experiencing and I still find myself wishing I could help. Of course, just by posting here again, I am risking another painful and judgmental backlash.
My heart dictates and so I will take the risk. My brother died at the hands of criminally negligent sadistic medical “professionals” at the age of 37, so maybe that is why I relate to your pain, am compelled by your situation and can even just let go of and forget about what felt like was maybe just misguided anger that had some of you to lash out at me. So, even though you have previously shut me down, I am going to put myself out here again because I think I could help. Let me explain.
I am currently bed-ridden sick, but prior to that I was successfully in business for myself for 20 years, then I ended up becoming an author. My publisher saw that I had a gift for gaining media attention because without even trying I was much more successful at getting publicity than the publicist he was paying a small fortune to. So, he hired me to be my own publicist and I was incredibly effective and successful at it. My book was on an incredible fantastic trajectory and then I fell ill and ended up losing it all (including a lot of cognitive functions, which is the reason (as you can tell by this and my past post, it is a challenge now for me to write well now a days)). If not for the incredible generosity of my family who took me in, I would be homeless now.
The reason I am giving you all of this background about me is because I am about to risk offering to help you all with your plight once again and I hope that you will at least give me the benefit of the doubt enough to not attack me and my integrity this time. I am trying to word it better ... I am not asking for anything – not even appreciation from you, just asking you not to trash me or question my integrity as that really stung. Is it that unconventional for someone to read a tragic story like this and care or want to help? That seems normal and human to me so I don’t really understand the reaction?

So here is what I am offering ... I am very limited because of my health. However, I would be willing to teach anyone of you how be a Media Magnet. Meaning, teach you the ins and outs of how to compel the media to cover your story and keep covering it – to the best of my ability and within my current limitations. I am very good at doing this and at teaching it and have done so for many who have credited me with their success in whatever it was they were committed to making happen and needed the media in order to make it happen. I have even been paid well to do this and to teach what I am now offering to give to you from my heart for nothing – just because I care. The fact that I don’t know you does not make it weird to care and want to help. That is how I have learned to live my life and it seems natural to me.
Again, let me be very clear that I have not, am not, and will not ever ask you for any compensation of any kind. I am not even asking for your appreciation! I do, however, ask that you not insult me or judge me negatively on this site or otherwise – even if you don’t like what I have written here this time or the way that I wrote it. Please have a little compassion for the challenges I am facing just in even writing this. I am a great public speaker and verbal communicator. I used to be a good writer too, but that is still a bit lost with some other cognitive skills for now, so please don’t criticize that either. Thank you.
If you choose not to take me up on my offer, I respect and honor that completely.
