Father Newton was one of the diocesan hierarchy and main players with these plans to close down our parishes. It seems to many that he has been given a promotion.

Maybe his next assignment should be salem county where he is originally from.(Carney's pt.) where he can learn some humility.

The camden diocese can't even keep an accurate history of the diocese and parishes. How will they maintain records of baptisms, marriages and other papers, if these parishes no longer exist.

And you will have to wait a long time for an appointment to get this informtion. What about people who don't live in the area and don't know about the closures.

And you will wait many years to have Mass celebrated in memory of a loved one.

These younger priests are becoming more worldly and lazy. Already deacons are being used more and more while priests spend more time on luxury vacations, internet etc.

One parish recently held chicken bbq at mooselodge. The deacon was there and finally said prayers. Later, former pastor shows up in khaki shorts and polo shirt and never says prayers or thank the people for coming. No one didn't even see new pastor/adminstrator and where was the other inresidence priest????

These priests have become lazy and l ukewarm...

While several priests at St. mary's in cherry hill who are older and are driving many distances and drving old beat up cars. These priests have been wrongfully "terminated" or "divorced" from camden diocese. There is no reason why these priests don't have a parish. This isn't year of priest; these have been years of persecution...

while these young lazy ones are driving mercedes, lexus, cadilac, big new sports utilities etc. The only time these "priests' travel if it to go to fancy restaurant with bishop to discuss church closures or money.

I have known Father Newton for over 10 years. He is not only the best homilist, but has a faithfilled heart of humility. HIs humility is outstanding along with his valable contributions of caring for our diocese. Father Newton has a spirit that raiates love, warmth, and friendship among his parishioners He has the skills to bring all of us to a higher standard of appreciation. Thank you Father Tom for all that you do.

Fr. Newton was a key leader in closing down most of the Catholic Churches and parishes in the Camden Diocese which is a great apostacy. He and others did not care about God's people.

You do not destroy God's tabernacles and Catholic churches. You don't destroy Catholic churches, protestant churches, mosques, synagogues, temples etc. per Canon Law which is law from the Vatican and the Pope. It is also God's law.

When Jesus was out in the desert, he was tempted by the devil with all new ministries of riches, powers, greed, gluttony, self love, etc. Jesus chose giving all love, honor and obedience to God.

Please pray for Kim and others because she never mentions God or the blessed Mother in her post about Father Newton. There is no mention of the Sacraments or leading souls to heaven either. There is a time and place for fellowship. However, during Mass, it should be all about God and our Blessed Mother....

Father Newton never cared about the young woman in pre-cana(weekend in blackwood) who was looking for help because she was scared to get married when she was 'damaged goods" because she was sexually abused by clergy.

Usually, there is followup where everyone gets together and talks about their wedding and their new marriage. Father Newton and EngagementMarriage encounter never contacted the married couple.

By the way, she's happily married. Still struggling with being sexually abused. The church closings just instigate old traumatic memories.
It is hard to move on when there is no truth. No God, No Blessed Mother in the Camden Diocese.

Father Friel even cussd out this young woman when she peacefully protested her parish from being closed and pleaded with him to not close down parish because it was needed to heal.

Father Namiotaka has got angry and screamed at several women from his parish too.

We are stuck we llukewarm priests while all the good ones are being persecuted like

Father Jack Conners, Father Romanowski, and where is holy Father Ronan Murphy?

Sexual abuse, lies, coverups, church closings are not the Roman Catholic Church.

Heard recently, Rome is sending a Visitor to reform our liberal nuns.

Rome should be investigating our bishops, Cardinals and parishes in THE CAMDEN DIOCESE. Because it is their sins which has led to the nuns' liberal sinful ways.

You can't correct the problem until you get to the source.

We write to the bishop, we write to Rome and no one cares to change.

we aren't picking on these priests and we mean them no harm. We need them to give all honor and glory to God. Instead, many of them think that they are gods.

The Camden Diocese needs to seek real change which is to seek God, Our blessed Mother, the Sacraments, and the truth and the real Roman Catholic church.

Don't judge me or others faith. Don't attack someone's heart because Jesus only can. I don't need your prayers. I ask my friends, church leaders, and family, and spouse. Love is a fruit of the spirit, ask God to help you love as he loves. I just happen to come across this post from the past. Mind your business, and you can take that to the Bishop Francis, along with confession, b/c I forgive your nasty post.
