YES, a BIG one. It's at Thunder Bird dam. and bring some of your own fireworks too. Lots of fun and free....

Hello,
Can you tell me where Thunder Bird dam is? Is there a hotel nearby. We visited a few years ago on the fourth and went to the top of a mountain but don't know the name of the mountain. We have young children that we would like to see the fireworks. We leave it to the professionals. Would appreciate any info you could give.

Yes, And the boat parade is at 7:oo pm , Bring some of your own fireworks to fire off. Lots of people doing it..

I hope you did not come for fireworks of the 4th. The Dumb asses canceled the fireworks show until tonight July 6th because of rain. If they would have looked at the weather report they would know it would been fine for fireworks.

Once I found out the fireworks were cancelled for the 4th, me and a couple of other guys took it upon ourselves to do a show. We went to several fireworks tents in the area and bought the biggest stuff we could find with our own money. We did a FANTASTIC show to music on Lake Thunderbird and received great reviews from the people that saw the show. It was the 4th and by golly we were gonna do a show for the people that would not get to stay for the Sunday show. I hope people that saw it liked it and appreciated our effort. Next year will be even better!!!

What part of T Bird were you on? I was at A house looking at the dam. I could see things going of over top of the trees maybe that was you.
I was also shooting allot of fireworks of. Maybe you could see some of what I was doing.
But had a good time on the 4th The city of Cherokee Village did not stop are fun. We did go to the show on the Sunday July 6th It was ok but had more fun shooting are own stuff off.

I was on the point across from T-Bird center, Kusa Circle. My show lasted 55 mins, with very few pauses. I had 5 misfires due to the wet conditions. Our music was on a boathouse on the point. I'm the same guy that did Rollin's show the previous Sat. night (and the previous year), it lasted 1 hour and 15 mins. Jack "The Fuse" Lowe...FIREWALLPOWER Productions.
