Shook Family Reunion

Shook Children are coming home! Jacob and Isabella Shook raised eleven children. Most of them moved on south and west. I have located descendants from 9 of the 11. We are scattered all over our nation. On April 21, 22, 23 of 2006, We are gathering home to Clyde for a grand reunion with our local cousins and friends.
Our general gathering place will be The Town Park in the center of Clyde. We will tour the Shook House Museum, the cemetery, get acquainted with each other, share or information and pictures, and just enjoy celebrating our rich family heritage. I am trying to find Alfred Shook's parents. He was born on Feb 14, 1818 in Haywood Co, NC and married Clarinda Brown who was also born there. They are buried in Towns County, GA at Gum Log. The family tree info stops at Alfred. He may have been Joseph Alfred or something else. Can you help us?
