Where is Ron Paul in your candidate list? It appears that the media is ignoring him. He wasn't included in the New Hampshire debates. Guiliana was, though he had lower numbers in the polls than Paul. I think the public at least has the right to know Paul's views -- he does have some valid ones. What's the story?

Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate on the republican ticket the knows the Constitution

Opposes NAFTA the war in Iraq and the war Bush is trying to start in Iran

Understands that in the currant vernacular the word
"terrorist"
is a tool for the neo-CONs
Very good on Privacy and Personal Liberty and Foreign Policy

My problem with him is he still thinks that serving the corporations and the wealthy will somehow help the country

I've been waiting for 37 years for any evidence that there is any legitimacy to that school of thought

Check out Dennis Kucinich also Not endorsed by the Media but good on most of the issues and not in with big business and multi-national corporations

Ron Paul is an idiot. The Supreme Court has shot down his "interpretations" of the constitution several times. I laugh whenever he tries to tell us that he's a constitutionalist. He has a lot of people fooled. Not me....but you. Do some research before you defend him.

it's funny that illegal immigration is the most important issue on the minds of every one i know yet very few candidates would do anything about it. at one time i had the the belief that america was a demacratic country. know i know the will of the people is ignored and the will of corporations is what really runs this country.

with all this talk of registering to vote by tomorrow. If I have voted from the same place, and there's been no changes to my name, address etc. I also received a sample ballot and voter Info pamphlet, with the location of my polling place. Do I NEED TO REGISTER by tomorrow, or am I already a registered voter? Thanks

While watching the 6 o'clock news I was told by the news report regarding the presidential primaries that John McCain is the Republican front runner. That is a complete lie. How can your newspeople be so blatantly bias. Actually I will give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they did not do it on purpose and they are just plain ole stupid. After this weekends caucus and primary Mitt Romney has 68 delegates to John McCain's 38. How does this make McCain the front runner. Absolutely shameful.
And please, don't mention the whole 28 year history of South Carolina picking the Republican nominee as the reason. Y'all are still liars.

Sounds like you're registered.

You needed to have re-registered if you moved, changed your name or wanted to change your party affiliation.

I would like to know what these president candiates are going to do about prisoners that should have been released 10 to 15 years ago under the old law and yet they still sit? What are they going to do about all of these crooked police officals?

Giuliani used to talk about wanting immigration reform. Where the hell is he? I've been waiting and waiting to hear from him during the campaigning news coverage, but he hasn't been a strong campaigner yet. Its always the Dems, Romney and Huckleberry. I don't care about more social programs and religion. Where are you Giuliani?

What was meant is that McCain is out front in every national poll out there. He's also coming off a win in South Carolina.

He has a point. It seems the Media has decided for us people. They don't mention that McCain actually lost votes from the last time. Romney has more delegates and he is the most conservative candidate.

One other thing, the polls are not as accurate as one would wish. Polls are statistics. They indicate McCain is out front. Yes.

They also indicated that Hillary wouldn't lose any primary and she did. Didn't she?

"There are lies, damned lies and statistics."

The Govenor of California is trying to pass a bill which will cut the monies for special needs children in adoptive homes. What is happening to our country?

It's called balancing the budget. Everything gets cut across the board. Maybe the adoptive parents will need to absorb more of the burden.

Hello all, I'm surprised there is so little information on the News 10 site about Prop 91 which would change loans from Highway Fund to General Fund -- and could adversely impact public transit. Our city is home to "Rudin's Folly" i.e. Light Rail. Light Rail is a solid success here ... I plan to vote no on 91. Also, thanks to News 10 for putting in a link to Easy Voter's Guide which explains Prop 91... Public Transit is one way we can reduce our dependence on imported oil.

Last Friday the DHS released regulations on Real ID, reducing cost to State DMVs by exempting people born before 1964. One socalled argument in favor of Real ID is to identify illegal immigrants. It follows then that the regulations amount to de-facto amnesty for older illegals. Real ID is a huge government boondogle which will not accomplish its stated purpose and brings us one step closer to Big Brother government. Any time we have agreement of Libertarian leaning Cato Institute and left leaning ACLU on anything that is NEWS. Both oppose Real ID. See realnightmare.org for details.
