This is AWFUL. I blame it on the property management, the parents and any other adults in the complex. Handsdown...there should be evictions and arrests. These adults need to make it clear that this will not take place in their community. I would even think the parents can be held accountable. This is just wrong and extremely dangerous for other kids. ANIMALS.

I would imagine shootings will eventually be the end result of these organized fights.

1) People have seen it (stood watching out window)-why did they not call police?
2)There have been about a lot of robberies in that area in the past week, the morals and character begin where?
3)What are the ages, where are the parents? Where are the parents? Where are the parents? Even if there is only one parent/guaradian in the home-kids need rules and standards.Kids are going to do some things, they are kids, but this is over the line. When they get tired of roughing up each other they will attack the defense...and now they will have training under their belts.
4)Next step is violence as adults.
5)If you spot a crime and do not report it you are as guilty as the person doing it.
6)Where are the parents? Kids have no decent examples so this is what they come to...
7)Parents should be accountable to a point but these aren't babies-they are old enough to have some sense of right and wrong.
Kids are taught and disciplined by:
1) Parents
2) Schools
3) Police
Keep it at home folks-do your job!
4)Regency Lake did have security-where is now?
5)

I have lived here for over 3 years and its getting worse. Not only are teenagers running around terrorizing the neighborhood, we also have children as young as 5 out after school with no supervision throwing rocks at peoples cars and windows, going into the woods by the Buelah/Dundas Road overpass to the train tracks, destroying personal property along the way, and I'm pretty sure the parents of these children and teenagers have no idea of even where there children are.

I watched the news last night (5:30pm, 6pm and 11pm) and noticed that no staff was on sight, even though the property office closes at 6pm. The office is few feet from the basketball court where the fights took place. Of course, they will say they are aware of the problems to the media, but in reality, they just want a paycheck and go home at the end of the day.

It is a matter of public record that Miles Properties is in bankruptcy at this time, and the corporate office does not respond to residents complaints. Janie Watson is the Community Manager for Regency Lake Apts and I believe her only concern is filling the many vacancies here without disclosing the true, harsh reality of living here.

Regency Lake apts has no security, the statements made by the reporter was incorrect. We used to have a security car drive around after 5pm periodically, but I have not seen them in a few moths, the Chesterfield police park near Meadowdale Townhomes every week with a speed gun to catch speeders on Meadowdale Blvd. If we had so much law enforcement around, why are people afraid to come outside?

This is not surprising. I leave near this complex and if you could see what goes in and out of it, you would understand. The complex is referred to as Little Mexico and Africa. I would almost bet that 3/4 of the residents have no job, lives off of us, and has about 6 kids per apt. I wish they would demolish the whole complex.
