I find it totally unacceptable for these politiicans to try to turn this into a plus or minus thing for the Nov. election. They still don't get it!!! We need to strenghten these laws A.S.A.P. Lets not protest the old laws (in the 80's) to blame someone and on the other hand say how many laws between 2004 & 2007 have taken care of the present stiuation when they want to claim they have done enough to take care of the problem. We can never stop improving our laws to protect our children because these "perverts" won't stop finding ways to take advantage of them. Please sign the petition that Lt Gov. Dubie has drawn up and get all your friends to as well. If you can't find one go online to the State of Vermont Government and you will find links to download and print the petition. We CAN NOT allow this issue to become a political football as it has been in the past. Please get out and do your part.

Even if the laws are put into place, they are no good unless they are abided by. Chemical castration is a joke, physical castration would be best and following up and making sure these bastards are supervised would be another. I say that the "legislature" seeing that they spend more time out of session than in it, should donate their time to check up on these bastards.

Come people we are talking about little children here. Get take politics out of it and look at the real picture , what if it was your daughter or son. Thease people have been getting away with it for so long and every one has been just sweeping it under the rug it's not funny anymore. But then agan you have thease older teens and adults use it as an excuse to get out. Im talking about the one that can't fend for them selves.
