God has truly gathered unto himself one of the greatest of all time. It was always a thrill to hear that voice as it filled the arena here in Coffeyville, KS. It has been a couple of years since he was was able to be here at the Interstate, yet now he'll always watch over us. He used to speak with knowledge & respect about the abilities of not only the Cowboys & Cowgirls, but also he had the greatest of admiration for the Livestock. You could see it in his eyes when a Cowboy made a great ride, and you could hear it in his voice when he called the number or name of the animal that ride was made on. I can see him in Heaven now, saddling up his horse and riding out across the prairie with all the Great Hosts. You know it says in the Bible that Christ rides a White Horse, what better company could he have. "Lookin' forward to seein' ya agin, Ride on Cowboy."

You said it so well...Clem McSpadden was a great man. He was the voice of rodeo. Oklahoma and the people of rodeo have lost a beloved family member. As we always said at the last performance of the rodeo, "We'll see you at the next one" and I know we will...
