I will be writing John Hanlons Name in because he is the only one campaigning and has no bagage. Doesn't drink, doesn't smoke coke or ciggs. Knows how goverment runs. Is as old as dirt but that is better than any of the others.

MIKE: This family will be doing the same - actually we all voted for Hanlon in the primary, as that is how we view him...
#4 Mar 20, 2013
This family will be doing a write in too but it won't be for Hanlon. We well remember him as mayor.

Hanlon is the right choice. He was the one who went after Smith. The rest of these clowns are only running because there is no incombent to face. Hanlon is the sober and drug free canadate. I will write in Mr. Hanlon.

Just read your announcement for candidacy online in the Advocate News. You should copy it here and let people know your background.

AMEN means "So be it." And I hope this "will be"
on April 2, 2013. I am ready for this responsibility
with courage & skill. God bless you - Dennis Gianatassio

My name is Dennis John Gianatassio and I am announcing my candidacy for Everett State Representative. I am an Independent candidate and as such I do not belong to either the Democratic or Republican parties. My loyalty and devotion lies only with you, the people of Everett.
I am a devout Catholic Christian and I will bring a deep, personal dedication to making our community a more loving and compassionate society based upon solid spiritual and moral principles of truth, justice, mercy, and freedom.
I am 100% pro-life, 100% pro-marriage between one man and one woman, 100% pro-economic justice (including a living wage), 100% pro-representation for all people, especially those left out of the political establishment. I will be a bold, courageous voice for you.
I have served the people of Everett as a four year member of the Everett School Committee, including one year as Chairman. I am the most senior candidate for Everett State Representative and I know, personally, the issues of our senior citizens. I am especially concerned about the substandard quality of care for senior citizens at home or at assisted living facilities. I will investigate the quality of personal and medical care of seniors and strongly insist on the very best services available.
I am a teacher and I have worked throughout my life with youth. I have taught young people how to play chess and lift weights; I have coached 7th and 8th grade basketball at the Recreation Center; taught 9th graders faith and morals at St. Anthony’s Parish; and have counseled young people through difficult moments of life. I will be a consistent advocate for more guidance and resources for our city’s youth.

ADVOCATE: Do you have a position on how you would vote on:
Giving ILLEGAL immigrants in-state tuition, i.e., pro or con....
Giving ILLEGAL immigrants driving licenses, i.e., pro or con...
Welfare/healthcare, etc, again for ILLEGAL immigrants.
These are tough-to-answer questions I know, but as a state rep. chances are you will be voting on these issues.

You are so right on. John is a very good man and extremely intelligent. The only one that former Honorable Rep Conley's family did indorse.
As far as being as old as dirt, keep in mind with age comes wisdom and his long life is untarnished. The one's that say he was a bad Mayor are the ones that were upset he defeated David. He brought the new high school in under budget and on time in 2007 under his watchful eyes. Also left a budget surplus and rainy day fund. Very approachable and will go out of his way to help you.
And most of all he will bring pride and respect back to the office of State Rep so we can move on. This city is so stagnant in scandal with Smith and Matewsky. Lets clean house.

I am torn between Hanlon and Giantassio. I voted for Hanlon in the Primary. Once he lost I read what Giantassio stands for (which is 100% what I stand for as well)and began to support him. Now that Hanlon is still in the race via a sticker campaign I am torn between the two. I don't want my vote to be a wasted one and I am unsure who has a better chance at defeating Matewski.

Hanlon will pull more votes than Giantasio. I like Dennis but I'm just being realistic.
The only chance to ensure Wayne does not get elected is pulling together (and in this city) it can only happen with a Democrat, and that's Hanlon. Any other thrown away votes are votes for Wayne. Time flies. Before you know it the election for State Rep will be back again.
My mind thought is now, today. Who is the better representative, Matewsky or Hanlon? I'm going with the man that has family morals, never cheated or crossed that line and that's Hanlon.

I bet the majority of people that go to Metewesky party will be the free tickets given to seniors. They go for the free food and absentee ballots. 266 absentee ballots for just him. Please we are not all idiots. He was the one who showed Stat how to do it.
#16 Mar 25, 2013
Wayne sits on the board of the Everett Housing Authority and is always in the towers with the old folks probably helping them to fill out their absentee ballots. What's wrong with that? Doesn't it make sense to go where the prey is?? Towers during the day, bar rooms at night.
#17 Mar 25, 2013
Wayne is very persuasive with those absentee ballots. He visits all the elderly, is sweet and nice then he whacks them with filling out absentee ballots right in front of him. He tells them " it's ok sweetheart I'll take care of that for you" and one person even came forward to say when she said she'd rather go to the polls, he became irritated and told them if they didn't do it that day and he didn't get in, the other candidates were going to cut their benefits. More than one person has come forward with this story. It's sad, it's persuasion, lets get people like this out of office.

Let's try this again.

Very hot topic,
especially in this city.
If I were him,
I wouldn't stick my neck out & get labelled anti-illegal,
er, I mean anti-undocumented society bleeders,
or whatever the correct name is for people that sneak into this country.

Dancin Dennis is just like the rest a lot of words but no answer. No vote for you.
