Recalling elected officials is no small task. But Roland Van Liew invested $90,000 to force the first recall in town history for four selectmen.

Pretty light on details, this article is. Very topical discussion on what Roland believes in, and what he hope to accomplish should he succeed with the recall effort. I'd love some details on the 40B mushroom fields in Chelmsford. The Emerson house didn't sell "for about $400,000" it sold closer to $500k. Yes, there were loopholes in the preservation restriction - why is that the fault of Chelmsford's Town government today? And, it was not public land when the sale occurred a few years ago - the Lowell Sun should clarify or challenge that assertion. This just perpetuates inaccuracies. Roland claims that he wants the BoS to uphold the law (well, everybody wants government to uphold the law)- but which law was broken in this case (details, please)? When are we going to see some real details of anything?
