Custodial jobs spared in Billerica
Custodians and concerned parents who showed up at last night's School Committee meeting exhaled a brief collective sigh of relief after it was announced that the final $52.14 million budget for next year will be met without having to privatize cleaning and maintenance services.

This is the school department trying to balance their budget (after ridiculous over spending) on the backs of the bottom of the food chain. They're going after the lively hood of hard working family men to make more savings and give themselves raises! Start cutting some of those nonsense administration jobs and maybe you'll see real savings. But I guess they'd rather have some company (full of theives and illegal immigrants) turn the Billerica schools into the mess Chelmsford has become!
