I am with the cop . Why would I believe a punk from NH and not a cop who is a IRAQ WAR VETERAN that was awarded a Medal of Valor. If that slob is claiming eye damage I hope NH takes his drivers license away and why is his employer still alowing him to drive as a salesman aren't they aware of lawsuits.

Any officer who sprays himself in the face with a toxic chemical doesn't know what he's doing. He lacks proper training.

Pepper spray is a minimal use of force. Ive been pepper or OC (oleoresin capsicum) sprayed. It burns, then goes away. Thats about it. Some people might fell the irritation a few days later. If he feels hes been permanently maimed (which Id wager is BS) it should be taken up with the company that makes the OC supplied to the police. Not the officer. IF an officer arrives and people are fighting, OC spray is an excelent tool to stop the violence without endangering the officer's own safety.
As far as alleviating his pain, what did he want? The only cure is pour a little water on it and give it time. ITs not the end of the world, its like geting lemon jiuce in your eye. Did he expect some type of invasive surgery to help his poor hurt eyes?
Lets also considre if the officer had not acted as he did. Wed then bee seeing a lawsuit that he was beaten mercilessly while Lowell PD stood by adn did nothing, or hed be complaining his wrist hurt when the oficer ad to grab him.
This Tupomsky guy sounds like hes looking for an easy paycheck from the city and this is his only chance. Too bad this is a poor attmept. Maybe hell have better luck when he tries to scam workmans comp.

Lol war vet? Maybe none of you supercop defenders even read the lawsuit itself. This clown cop didn't announce himself, sprayed himself, arrested the VICTIM despite witness testimony and then the lowell pd "conveniently" erased/lost the security booking tapes. So you're all good with him arresting a guy who was attacked and then the cops violating his civil rights? Its amazing he got through the war without accidentally discharging his firearm. The lowell PD is corrupt, most pd's are. These things happen to people and people are scared to stand up. This cop should be fired and made an example of. The people should not fear their government, it is the government that should fear its people...

The actual quote by Jefferson is "When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty."

Screw this cop.
