How about helping the hard working, tax paying American citizens who've lost their jobs and homes, first?

This is outrageous. This country is becoming the dumping ground for every nation on the planet.

Fortunately,i'm working, and i sympathise with my fellow American citizens who are being treated like this.

I will not contribute to any non-citizens anymore.

I could go on for hours about this travesty. God help the American citizens.

How about giving something to Americans and letting everyone else go home? If you want to help, help your brother in law, sister or anyone you know who was born here and is unemployed or underemployed. This is why we are in this predicament, people who worry about the whole world but don't give a care for their neighbors.

Why should I help them? We have so many hardworking Americans are struggling I will not help these people. I was at TD bank recently and there were two of these immigrants laughing at the manager because she didn't realize that they don't pay taxes so her forms were irrelevant to their savings.
I will keep my resources to help Americans who still pay taxes and have children that deserve a Christmas!

Here we go Again, I understand that thier country was war torn, But instead of fleeing to here for us to support them they should go back and do as our forefarthers did and fight. NOOO that would be too much of a sacrifice. Become refugees and go to the United States of America, Get loans and such, But none for the Citizens of this great Country. Freedom is not FREE and it costs more than money.

We have a Republic if we can keep it.

I'm sure they get food stamps, welfare and free medical now. They don't need any more 'help'.

First we take of ourselves. Those in our homes, our communities and our country. Then we are strong enough to help others help themselves.

I know far too many Americans that can't qualify for any assistance of any kind because immigrants with no income or hope of it have dropped the limits so low that only immigrants can qualify.

I have great compassion for my neighbors who both work and yet are having to stay with relatives because they can't afford any oil to heat their home to 55 degrees. Have some compassion for your own first!

<quoted text>
He has compassion. He sees how horribly our own American's are being treated because the only resources we have are going to immigrants instead of us.

There are way to many of us hurting because our "powers at be" that we trusted are spending far too much money on everyone but the working people of our country. You know the people that work to make this country so attractive to the immigrants.

I have relatives that came from over on the Mayflower and more relevant relatives that came over just 2 generations ago and guess what. They came willing to work and worked and spoke the language of our country and didn't ask for a hand out. They came as indentured servants and worked their way to freedom or with just enough money to sustain themselves for a short period of time until they found work. They did not make their first stop the welfare office to get money, free medical care and free food stamps.

There is a huge difference in that type of immigration and what happens now. Times change and we should at the very least not let anyone who isn't going to be able to care for themselves enter this country!

Don't forget that they get put on the top of the list for section 8. I know a young woman who works and goes to school and has a happy well adjusted child but was told straight out that being white means that she will likely be on the list for 6-8 yrs so she should go to every town in the state and try to find town run housing programs if they will let you apply.

Life happens and her hubby left. She has no help and yet she isn't looking for anything than temporary help with rent until she finishes college this spring. So sad that she can't get it because she isn't an immigrant.
