Va. Pastor: US Custody Case Had No Vt. Connection

Dec 10, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: EDGE

The Virginia pastor convicted in a Vermont federal court of helping a woman and her child flee the country rather than share custody with her former lesbian partner is arguing that the case should be dismissed because his actions had no connection to Vermont, court documents say.

TAX the Established Church!! OMG,
Heck the Catholic Church has Billions if not Trillions of dollars in GOLD and priceless paintings and they still cry POOR, You have to give them money for this and that , heck you have to give them money so some man can hear the bad things you have done and tell you to do this and that and all your sins will be gone.
As I said before I was told only GOD could forgive you of your sins NOT some man in a black robe.
have a nice night

I guess this pastor needs to do a more thorough reading of Romans.

Romans 13:1-5

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience.

This religionist bigot defied a ruling of the VT and VA Supreme Courts, so he argues that VT has nothing to do with the matter....

See, the Commandments, specifically the one about bearing false witness, don't apply when a fundie's right to be a bigot is involved.
