Landis the Jerk? I agree but what about Bishop & Bartholomew? They're jerks too!! Arrogant, poor bedside manner, think their time is more important than mine etc.. Facer is good, genuinely cares about his patient's, speaks in a manner and tone thats comforting and understandable and gets you in and out. He will be missed!

facer is an excellent dr. the community is losing a real asset. the other 3 are money hungry with no compassion for their patients and shady work practices. they think they are all powerful. dr. facer will truly be missed

Medicor is spreading its' poison all over! Dr. Barnes' practice lost three of their providers since they signed up for the song and dance that Medicor handed them!
soon to be gone

I predict that Medicor isn't going to be around much longer. Their egos and pompous attitudes will do them all in! There is a reason people are talking and all saying the same thing!

My wife and I go to Bartholomew and wouldn't go to anyone else.

He has really helped treating my wives heart condition.

My wife tells me he is the best doctor she has ever been to.

I guess you can't please everyone.

medicor as a group hasn't done anything good for the medical system of this community. they have bought out lee, barnes and others. bishop is creating a kingdom for himself. he seems to think his rude behavior is fine. referals go to medicor doctors for testing that is un-needed just to fill the coffers for the king. where has compasionate medical care gone. its terrible that bishop can't even return a patients call, it seems to be below him. just a big circle jerk.

Where do you find a good doctor in this area ?
they are a lost cause

You can't. Better off going to Buffalo. If you go to Erie, the big Medicor monster will swallow you up and spit you out!

The doctor's are not the only ones walking out of medicor. Office staff is leaving too. It seems that noone can stand to work in that place anymore.

After contact with two individuals at two different offices, I get the impression that engaging w/ Medicor will be like entering a factory like environment. A sort of patient mill. Looking for an alternative.

Medicor is looking to become(or already is) a strong fisted giant that can use its exclusivity against insurance companies and your wallet, theyre more interested in ammasing weath and power than they are in anybodys health. Has anyone noticed they guide you thru unneccesary services that just so happen to also be provided by medicor for your convienence? They have medicor phyical therapy, they have medicor ultrasound and they funnel homecare services to willcare who coincidently leases space from them. The goofy Doc that replaced Facer has the attention span of a jack russel terrier, he'll ask you 3 times where you're from, you could give him 3 different answers and he'd never catch on. Just the kind of clown I want managing my health....NOT. Id drive 100 miles to continue to see Jeff Facer! He's a super doctor, genuinely interested in his patients well being. Its too bad he couldnt take the medicor Bullshit anyore either!!

Its sounds like good business practice to make available ultra sound, stress tests, ekg, doppler, etc etc, Why the hate? the group has kept me going for the last 20 yrs. Do you really think it is different iun Buffalo or Erie? Huge medical groups where there is strength in numbers. Its all over, get over it Dr WELBY IS DEAD.

IF you are happy and like their services, then stay there....many many many of us have left and have never been happier. I know of 3 people who died of cancer and this office missed it and/or dismissed the patients complaints and a second oppionion was how the disease was found. After several years of being "ignored" by Landis, I finally left and found a doctor who listened to me! Good thing too, because of I had gone much longer without treatment, I could have had some serious longer term health issues that what I ended up with! That office is only out for the $ nothing more!!!!!

Theres nothing wrong with medical groups and the ancillary services attached, if its used properly. Medicor is a LOOOONG way from its prior reputation, and they continue to get worse. My Dad swears Bartholomew saved his life 20 years ago and I would agree, but I dont want him anywhere near me today.

I have lived in this area for MANY yrs. This conversation is the same as it was 30 yrs ago. Different names is all. I am sure they do their best, would bet my house they are not trying to kill anyone. Unfortunately missed or misdiagnoses are part of the job, if it was that easy we would all be physicians. Maybe that is why they call it practicing medicine and remember even the last person in a graduating class at a mdical school is still called doctor.

Lived here all my life too, You dont get it! This is different, its not about misdiagnosis, or someone trying to kill anyone its about control of the market, money, unnessesary services being provided and maybe even fraud. Since the beginning of time, if you didnt like a doctor, you'd find another one. Today, when you look for other doctors you find theyre all being absorbed by medicor, and Medicor is ruining the doctors. Now there expanding into catt county now too, sucking doctors into their greedy scheme and deminishing the quality of care in another county.
