Hannaford data breach offers twists from prior attacks

PORTLAND, Maine : At first, it sounded like another in a long line of credit card breaches: Up to 4.2 million account numbers were stolen by thieves who cracked computers at Hannaford Bros. via International Herald Tribune

I am not surprised Hannaford's is not accepting responsibility for any of the cost of replacing compromised credit/debit cards. My cousin and I had separate dealings with different divisions of the company on a corporate level and we each came away with the impression that this is a very ethically challenged corporation.
