Does this mean the baby-killing bastard is careening around the streets of Spokane County again?

Excuses, excuses, excuses...no one takes responsiblity for anything these days. They point fingers and make excuses. If the guys cough was so bad that he passes out then he should not have been driving. He knew he had the condition, he knew he sometimes passes out BUT he still chose to drive a two ton weapon around. He chose to drive after knowing his medical condition...sound pretty reckless to me. Guess drunk drivers shouldn't be arrested either...because isn't alcoholism an illness???

So people with heart conditions maybe shouldn't drive because at any moment in time they could have a stroke or heart attack. Uh, maybe being old is a crime too because they don't have quick responses like they did when they were young. Maybe the person who has cancer and wears a wig might cough and it will fall in their face and cause an accident.

OR maybe it really should be that teenager who I always seem to follow is weaving all over the fricken place, should not be driving at all because they are texting or putting on their makeup. NOW that makes sense.

The point is things happen and this man is going to have to deal with it for the rest of his life.
I believe seeing the family of the children who were killed saw it for what it was (an accident) and embraced the man after the trial was over.

Sometimes justice is what already happened to a mans concience after the fact.

Apparently refusing to be outdone by the O.J. Simpson panel - widely regarded, until very recently, as the twelve most obtuse people to ever occupy one room simultaneously - Helms so-called jury has likewise turned a killer loose upon us. Is it possible to thank them enough?

How about that woman who left her grandson(15 mos.old) in a carseat for 5 hours in 95 degree heat (outside the car) while she went inside and took a nap! That baby died and all the judge gave her was 3 yrs probation!!!!! It was an accident...I forgot he was in the car... IT WAS NEGLIGENT HOMICIDE and should be treated as such! Since when does being "sorry" for your crime relieve your PENALTY!

This man killed five kids, if we do it as we do bartenders, have the doctor be responsable. That doesn't really work either. Who will be the first to let this man drive their children where they have to go? If you kill someone there should be a penalty. If you are impaired in any way, there should be restrictions on your license, if you need glasses it's on there. How long does it take to pass out from coughing? If you are coughing and know you have this condition, it is your responsability to make sure you are fit to keep driving. If you use poor judgement pay your dues.
