Just moved here from Knoxville, I am looking for a doctor or clinic that will treat a person for back and leg pain. I know the subject is controversial, and I have read some cruel comments made to other people seeking info about this subject. But really u don't have to read it and don't have to like it, information is why this site is successful. For each his own right? So now that I am part that, can anyone recommend a doctor or clinic in the chat area that has no problems treating pain? The doctors in Knoxville r scared to death of being put down, I have figured out one thong if the government wants a doctors nuts, don't matter how much that doctor kisses ass, they will close the doors. Every disc in my limbar region is protruding and. I have other problems in my back, but can't find any clinic to help me, recmendations are welcomed

Yeah and probably does the medical profession and persons like me that will suffer. You know what, since they want to stop pain relief all together, the FDA should outlaw all opiates, Americans will be just a bunch of miserable hurting citizens that will turn to the heroin dealer on the corner, this government may think they have a problem now, but it can get worst. This thing with the pain clinics didn't get bad until the Ryan Hyatt act went into effect, I had never heard of Roxi, but now that's all u read about. U tell a free society they can't do something, watch how it fuels the problem. The Europeans say we are a very up tight free country. See the contradiction. Thanks for the update on the doc, another one bites the dust.

If every disc in your LUMBAR region is protruding, you are a medical marvel a miracle if you can walk. You do not need pain medication, you need surgery. If you are going to pain clinics instead of qualified doctors, you do not deserve treatment. By saying you are trying pain clinics just shows you want pills, not treatment.

The medical Marvel would b a person with my problems not needing pain pills. U r absolutely right, I want pills, think I stated that in my original post. I simply ask if anyone could recommend a pain doc, don't think I ask for anyone's opinion or approval, don't want it and don't need it. Good luck with ur opinions, maybe drug task force can help u put people like me away, strap u up with audio and video, hit the street. Help ur community putting drug seekers in a cell on that steel slab, but the problem will still b there, and the state has to feed us terrible low life drug seekers.

I would rather be an opiate dependent "medical marvel" than take the gamble, with losing odds I might add, of having surgery and coming out paraplegic.

My docs want me to have surgeries that the outcome has high odds of coming out wheelchair bound, paraplegic. No thank you. I have a young daughter and wife who needs me.

It's so damn easy for someone who doesn't know the pain, nor the choices that have to be made, to run their mouths. Let them walk in someone else shoes and see their opinion then, but guess what? Who cares about their opinions, I sure as hell don't.

Impacted, good luck on your quest. I wish I had info to offer but I, as well, am new to the area.

I have a bulging disc in my neck from breaking it when I was 15. I am in constant pain. I don't even take ibuprofen for it. I have an MRI twice a year and constantly move my head and I can deal with it. Pills just make you intolerant of the pain.

KyBoy is right on. Used to live and work up there for awhile. Need to find something down here and for all u haters. Mind your own f&$"ing business. If I want to do heroin all day I should be able to. It's my damn body. If your gonna let a woman kill a baby then by all means I should be able to get some pain med's if I want. Hell, i hate having become addicted to em but it happened so now if I have em I don't act all messed up. I feel better, more creative, and a complete better citizen and as long as I go to work and do my job, don't worry about it. You self righteous pieces of shit

Yes I certainly need to find a pain clinic in Kentucky or anywhere else. I'm in cleveland ohio. There is pain that is now leading to severe headaches during the day. After the doctor gave medicine that didn'thelp he didn't want to do jack else, just said try to stretch your neck lol. I'm serious, so at this point yes I'm ready to go just about anywhere rather than suffer all day long. I'm female, in 30's, been in pain for at least about 3 months, it's not funny any more. Please help, and if I get help I will certainly throw cash directly at you,and I think that's just showing appreciation.

soon as you come in to chattanooga take exit 4, at red light turn left, look for starbucks on the left and there will be a mall that has virginai college and other schools, they all so have THREE pain clinics, and they have to be pill mills, they give all kinds of stuff, the law stops out of towners so you better be STRAIGHT!
