........" is it the right to learn how to live so that we can fulfill out potential."
And how might we "ought to live in fulfilling our own potential", one might ask?
Well, different ways.
One of the ways might be considered a personal example. It might be perhaps to have an effective, healthy, or beneficial way in freely expressing my own thoughts without interference from certain highly objectionable fussbudgets who obviously are on the wrong side of an issue, and have the tendency to pitch a royal fit about someone thought to be exaggeratedly, inferior to their authority concerning an issue. So they try intimidating me for this, although what I do here is my prerogative, whether they like or agree with what I have to say or not. I am just as entitled to my opinion, as they are theirs. It is equal on that level, regardless of previous circumstances or status. No, I may not have my own "radio show" with a listening audience, but I have a reading audience, do I not?
Look, I realize that what I say at times may seem to strike a nerve (or hopefully hits HOME) to certain few people, and what they can't handle knowing about or hearing, but I am not here to do anything other than what I am obligated in helping other people out there with in similar situations. I am not here to sugarcoat anything, but to give people a dose of reality. That is their right. it's about not only freedom of expression, but freedom of information in this golden age of technology. Did it ever occur to some people that my obvious cause for what may be relatively considered "wrong with my thoughts", is that I was never taught well in school in correctly learning to articulate or express these? But is that ultimately my fault? Or is it due to the lousy public educational system we had then back in the 1980's (in some ways, we still do)? Was it my fault that my parents were coerced or gave into pressure into having myself put in programs back then that were not necessary for a child's potential growth, having needful challenge so that he COULD develop in the way he ought to? Was it possibly, although, currently disputable or debatable, that by some chance this was meant to turn out that way, so that I could not as easily express what I needed to, effectively, to my parents, in turn causing them to think about the mistakes that were made concerning what I should have positively had the chance to contribute any input toward the decisions for my own educational training? Was it also possible that this was to keep me under a certain level of control from becoming completely an independent individual that can make ultimate decisions for himself responsibly, or to ever learn how to have the privilege in doing MANY things for himself. Was it perhaps MAYBE designed to keep a certain level of dependency coming from myself so that others would feel secure and confident enough, feeling important enough in my relying on them for more than necessary?
Was it by some chance, in other words, designed to have someone to make that authority feel more complete and important enough that I would depend on them for just about everything in a subordinate fashion, or being psychologically conditioned?
Subsequently, this has all turned out in reality, being to the advantage of those who find it inconvenient or don't wish to ever face the personal convictions they might have, due to whatever supposed "wrong thoughts" I am said to have.

Oh, by the way, just because I've been "declared" a certain way or another, or having some perceived "condition" (INDUCED in me) about how I may not be doing things for myself entirely on my own, it doesn't give folks the right to just waltz right in where I live at and treat me like a doormat with how they speak to me, or in their putting on a drama show. Save that one for the theater, Scarlet! I demand the same respect as anyone else, along with the same dignity and honor as anybody else you may relate to!

So you thought all this just completely blew off that easily since last Sunday (April 20th)? Don't think so. Thought I would just simply forget it all overnight, and I would have been thought of in my promise of handling what happened, in the aftermath, as just perhaps in certain people's minds, as I am only blowing smoke, or am full of hot air? guess you find out now how wrong some of you people are (and they know who this refers to). Because guess what? Surprise! I "mean every single word" of what I am saying here, too! And what I said later that Wednesday was also the case, but for the most part, I knew I had to eat crow temporarily, to deal with some other financial situation.

Let me tell you something: if there is anything I am "sick" about, as you people say (they know who this is about)? it is that I am "sick" (and tired) of having people all these years talk down to me or "get an attitude" of THEIRS with me of THEIR OWN, or to act so short every time, or intolerant, or hateful, or impatient with me socially, when I am among the company of others.

I WILL NOT STAND FOR IT ANY LONGER IN FUTURE ENGAGEMENTS!

The very next time my folks try to embarrass ME or shame ME in front of others (like they did, again in October of 2007 last year), it will be INSTANTLY RETURNED and I mean RIGHT THEN AND THERE -- ON THE SPOT -- and I WILL call my folks out! Is that clear? Consider this a warning about their severe social flaws! I have OFFICIALLY told certain people (and they know who they are now) in advance. If they, for ANY reason, have the urge to -- even SUBTLY -- make a spectacle of ME, or any degrading remarks about me in front of other witnesses, they TOO shall expect the SAME HUMILIATION -- EVEN SUBTLY -- in my making a spectacle of THEM as WELL, because I PROMISE them -- it WILL be called to everyone's attention, no matter what method I use in doing so, similar to how it is right now, only not saying nearly all this much as I am now.

So you or anyone (even perhaps them) reading this, have had their only warning in advance, the next time, whether it's a funeral, a wedding, a reunion, or any other social get-together of its kind, no matter what it is --- I am NOT going to forget this. So don't wish that I would or believe I'm just full of hot air to my parents, because THEY WILL BE SORRY! You can bet on that. And I plan on keeping a not of this, and anything else that continues to accumulate. THERE WILL BE ACCOUNTABILITY! Whatever it takes! I am going to settle this and stand my ground!

I am sorry you object to something you know I am right about, though. I realize it is a controversy what statements I make. But I am free to make them. Your effort to discourage this is a waste of your time. However, you are certainly free to express your feelings of misguided disagreement.

At least think about what I have said, before you are so quick with such a defensive, knee-jerk retort, or you get so instantly carried away with your emotions, before you have time to think, my friend. That is my challenge to you. Why be so over-dramatic in your reaction, Scarlet? Why embarrass yourself? It might do you some favor to see if what I say has value or that I actually have a point. If you don't think so, then you are certainly entitled to your opinion. But I would invite you to consider what I have to say for what it's worth to you as an individual. You might actually learn something profound.

The last time I checked, we do live in America, and not Czarist Russia, so your little outburst means nothing to me. Your effort in censoring what things I say will do you no good, also. I see you feel strongly opposed to the point I make on here. May I suggest you work it out with your therapist?

No need to worry about "DOAT", son.

It is obvious in how some people just cannot accept good advice, no matter what. You can only pray for them, perhaps.

Maybe they won't stay lost in the dark world of oblivion for too long. Who knows?

Sean - what are you doing? You are using this forum like a diary. You are full of anger. Your parents and/or friends have bad manners yet you still hang with them? Get over this crap and find your future with people you like.

I bet you would even go on a talk show and say that.
You are a typical "yes-man" robot with no humanity, or not a bone of individualism in you, I bet, aren't you? A PHONY! You probably go around parroting what you hear everybody else say, because you are a common lilliputian, with nothing new to say, and no creative ideas. You just say what is popular among the masses of sheeple, don't you? I bet you probably considered Nevil Chamberlain from past history, as your hero, right? You marginalize freedom of expressions and probably want to censor it, right? Along with all your other do-nothing cohorts. HA! Yeah, the same type that T.S. Eliot told us about. It's funny how you read every single demonstration of free thought as "anger"? Is this your typical retort to anything that makes a point about people with your fake pollyanna naive-about-reality mindset?
I give people a reality check, and I guess some can handle it, and some can't. Well, the truth isn't for everyone, as you can see here folks.
Well unlike you, I am not here to sugarcoat anything. I have independent thinking that apparently you love to impose upon. Who are you? The Soviet Union? Do you seek to suppress my right to the First Amendment? You call anything that you have an objection to as "anger", but yet, at least I have ALREADY "moved on" and I use this to get it off my chest to help SEVERAL others out there who have the same issues. But unlike you, I have an outlet, I guess. maybe you just want to complain because you can't find one as easily, or as wisely. What do YOU know how to utilize other than coming on here to desperately discredit anything of value that I have to say?
Maybe this isn't a method you approve of because YOU have a desire to project YOUR OWN personal frustrations in never finding YOUR OWN forum to adequately or effectively express things in a creative manner. So who are you to judge MY intentions? We live in America, sir, last time I checked, not Czarist Russia. So you can take your little superior-thinking mind someplace else. Your empty comments about my supposed "anger" mean nothing to me. This forum is for free-thinkers. Not boring ones who listen to Hush Bimbo or Pawn Vanity, or other schmucks. Are you seriously trying to curtail my freedom of speech? Or are you simply looking for a way to downplay what I have to say on here, because of your effort in patronizing me?
Well, "anger" or "no anger", however you like to read this, with your simple, hollow, superficially biased, and downright irrelevant opinion, you really don't matter to me. But I forgot, you intellectual supremists know so much more than me, right? Yeah I am just some clown to you, right? You wanted me to stay the perfect little loyal stooge puppet that I was for you to have your way with, psychologically, right?
Let me tell you something, buddy, it was anger, historically, that motivated things to happen, and to get things done, not take a pill and imagine in some fairy-tale land that the world will be a better place, if we just pop pills. I guess that's why we saw where it go Timothy Leary.
You think that by having some stupid euphoria, that is going to make our problems go away? No. They are still here, waiting for you to own up to the REAL problem and take accountability. WE ARE ALL part of the same problem, indirectly contributed toward it or directly. So your constant making excuses for them, or to try and take the focus off of each of everyone who plays an equal part to them or not, is not productive, in my estimation. Why don't you WAKE UP, moron?
Whoever you are, and I really wonder if I should care who you are, or how you THINK you know my parents (what do you know about if I really "hang" with them, as you say or not? What's to say I do?)...I suggest YOU, my friend, become more a human being and get off your Prozac, because I can clearly see it is numbing your poor pitiful passive mind.

Also let me suggest that you read this AND the following. Apparently, you are the subject of its personality portrayal.

We are the hollow men
We are the stuffed men
Leaning together
Headpiece filled with straw. Alas!
Our dried voices, when
We whisper together
Are quiet and meaningless
As wind in dry grass
Or rats' feet over broken glass
In our dry cellar

Shape without form, shade without colour,
Paralysed force, gesture without motion;

Those who have crossed
With direct eyes, to death's other Kingdom
Remember us -- if at all -- not as lost
Violent souls, but only
As the hollow men
The stuffed men.

II

Eyes I dare not meet in dreams
In death's dream kingdom
These do not appear:
There, the eyes are
Sunlight on a broken column
There, is a tree swinging
And voices are
In the wind's singing
More distant and more solemn
Than a fading star.

Let me be no nearer
In death's dream kingdom
Let me also wear
Such deliberate disguises
Rat's coat, crowskin, crossed staves
In a field
Behaving as the wind behaves
No nearer --

Not that final meeting
In the twilight kingdom

III

This is the dead land
This is cactus land
Here the stone images
Are raised, here they receive
The supplication of a dead man's hand
Under the twinkle of a fading star.

Is it like this
In death's other kingdom
Waking alone
At the hour when we are
Trembling with tenderness
Lips that would kiss
Form prayers to broken stone.

IV

The eyes are not here
There are no eyes here
In this valley of dying stars
In this hollow valley
This broken jaw of our lost kingdoms

In this last of meeting places
We grope together
And avoid speech
Gathered on this beach of the tumid river

Sightless, unless
The eyes reappear
As the perpetual star
Multifoliate rose
Of death's twilight kingdom
The hope only
Of empty men.

V

Here we go round the prickly pear
Prickly pear prickly pear
Here we go round the prickly pear
At five o'clock in the morning.

Between the idea
And the reality
Between the motion
And the act
Falls the Shadow

For Thine is the Kingdom

Between the conception
And the creation
Between the emotion
And the response
Falls the Shadow

Life is very long

Between the desire
And the spasm
Between the potency
And the existence
Between the essence
And the descent
Falls the Shadow

For Thine is the Kingdom

For Thine is
Life is
For Thine is the

This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.

I bet that's what you want, though, right?

oh, and by the way, "little to do", I guess that is why there are SEVERAL "angry" people out there in America that listen to certain "angry" talk radio hosts, and because they are "angry" enough to care, and to therefore DO something about it, they make "angry" progress. they also make "angry" money, and sell a lot of "angry" books, too.

What do YOU do? Do you never get angry? Do you just sit there idly in you hot tub or sing in the shower and laugh at everything in the world?

I guess that is what Solomon was talking about in his book of Ecclessiastes, when he mentioned people like you.

"1 I thought in my heart, "Come now, I will test you with pleasure to find out what is good." But that also proved to be meaningless. 2 "Laughter," I said, "is foolish. And what does pleasure accomplish?" 3 I tried cheering myself with wine, and embracing folly—my mind still guiding me with wisdom. I wanted to see what was worthwhile for men to do under heaven during the few days of their lives."

Unlike YOU, Sean has "plenty to do" and "plenty to say", and isn't boring. Go find a journalist to say the same thing about the journalist's "anger". tell him to "get over this crap" and "find his future with people he likes".

Then find out his response. I bet the journalist would like at you like you are an idiot who lives in another universe or is not in touch with reality, you bozo. YOU get real.

And while you are at it, "little to do", may I dare you to tell your line of bullsh** to a book author at a public convention, without the security escorting your pathetic, helpless, embarrassing self off the stage to make you leave?

I can only suggest that you have statements with more relevancy in here. Otherwise, don't waste our time. YOU get a life, and stop criticizing those who know how to express themselves.

I bet "little to do" wants to say this to T.S. Eliot:

"T.S.- what are you doing? You are using your poem like a diary. You are full of anger. Your parents and/or friends have bad manners yet you still write
about them? Get over this crap and find your future with people you like. Not that you don't have one already, as a writer, who makes a lot more money than me, but that you should get a BETTER life, like the boring one that I have."

Not only that, Sean, but probably because the ones who are defined simply as "angry", by the supposed "expert", Mr. Little-to-do, are actually people with something INTERESTING TO SAY, and not some hollow cop-out sissy comment like that of one named "Little-to-do"!
