You people are right on the money about Mr. Shabo, Marilyn and Robin!!!! Keep going through with your efforts...someone has to stop this madness. People should be treated with respect and dignity. Clearly this doesn't happen @ "The Spa" even if you spend thousands of dollars. My heart goes out to all of you who have been hurt, maimed and or wronged in any manner. None of you deserve this but as someone mentioned earlier, he just keeps getting away with treating people this way. All of you need to get your formal complaints to the Tennessee State Board of Dentistry. This seems to be the best resource for anything to reprimand him or have his license removed forever.

I love Dr. Shabo - what is it with you people? I have had wonderful, wonderful results and would recommend him to anyone and everyone. You guys are obsessed or something. I didn't have any problems - the fee was comparable to other dentists, actually less than two. Maybe it's your mouths that are the problem, not the dentist.

went to shabo, he cut my tounge while doing cerec crowns and caps. numbed up i didn't realize this until i was eating dinner and looked to see how the work looked while washing hands. there was a huge gash in the side of my tounge. Maralyn said to use peroxide and seek a dr. if it got infected.

stupidly i went back for the other caps, and they have ledges around the base of the tooth. i was kinda disappointed the dr. said nothing while working on the teeth, but figured he must have other things on his mind (like the poker tournament his staff was chatting about).

Anyways, mandy the new dentist in his office is awesome. very gentle and concerned about her patient. she does cerec too.

and IM glad for you confused for so far he's had one good review that's you . did you go to vimo on the rating 's thread and see what he did to the other people ? how does's that make you feel you think we're making this stuff up? not in a million year's so dont think we are if we had been treated right the public would have been the first to know ill be glad to meet with you and show you what i still have in my mouth and ill bet you you would'nt like it . Confused in Hixson....Obviously you are one of the few lucky ones that did not get butchered. I think every now and then a blind hog can find an acorn. Please take into consideration these people who have been paralyzed by his negligence, those who have pending lawsuits against him for being touched inappropriately, and those like nohowyoufeel being unable to eat normally at all! Clearly you are the one person who can say he did a good job...oh you and Marilyn, the one with the most annoying voice on the planet. He has the highest turnover rate of employees than any other DDS in Chattanooga. Mariylyn stays because I assure you she gets paid handsomely to bake you cookies and use her over the top comments on the radio. So I say to you "Confused" please do more research.

I understand thank you so much for that.. that's right once in a while something good happen's and im glad confused did'nt get what we got and i'll be glad to meet with them and show them what he did to me...hey and it only took him a couple hours' to do to me what a real dentists' said should have been weeks' but oh well the tooth fairy swayed us with all that hype and we fell for it hook line and sinker so I quess marilyns' doing her job she'e the only one.

I assume "CDT"stands for Certified Dental Tech. However,the state does not recognize this, the only official state record I could find was his registeration as a engineer intern he also appears to hold a degree in Chemical Engineering from UTC. There appears to be no bussiness license at all state or local, huuummmmmmm.

The state dental board stated as long as a state registered dentist signs an order then a lab can do the work. These lab's are not regulated, buyer beware.

did you go reciently did you check him out before you went and what did you think of the experience other than they werent' clean ?

I did some invistigation to the violation that the state brought against Dr. Shabow. It was for a article that was published in the womens way journal. It was a few months back you probably read it...talking about choosing a dentist and weather your dentist was up on the latest techniques. Turns out other dentists got upset at him putting down the holy amalgams that are being tought in the dental schools and reported it to there friends in Nashville. I don't agreee with what Dr. Shabow did but he got a really bad wrap for stepping out and saying something that we should all be concerned about! Mercury poisioning...

you know beweary, I did the same and talked with some of my friends that are his patients... turns out to be true about the trouble the dentists in Nashville got all upset of anyone talking about the amalgams since the local dental schools i guess are still teaching them according to my dentist.

It makes me sad to hear nohowyoufeel bashing Dr.Shabo, I have been a patient of his for a number of years and he has changed my life for the better 100%. I am sorry that a few of you have had bad experiences but he has helped a number of my friends in amazing ways and I can never thank him enough. I am sorry you had a bad experience, and can only wish the best for you. I have never seen a dentist as gifted as he was in dealing with my complicated case. I hate to see someone like yourself so bitter and full of hate... thats not christian!

Dee is sounds like you had a bad experience. There are risks with any surgery. Did you go see a neurologist or someone to correct the problem? they say the first 15 months things can still be reversed! He did implants on me and mine turned out beautiful.... I love him
