True the OL protect there own but that is true of any family. That is what the OL stands for brotherhood...and we all have scars and bad childhoods (or at least most of us do)but we move on and make it better for the next generation. No one is without a past good, bad or ugly. The OL is a place where a certain few find they belong and while they aren't choir boys they aren't evil monsters either. Oatmeal is just one of many really great guys that wear that vest and again I am not OL "property" but I have no doubt that when I am with them I am completely safe and protected. And I could call any of them to help me out if I ever needed them.

You know npressley, I am happy that you feel safe with them. I wasn't, lots of women haven't been and there will be more like me. Perhaps your fella's are different, I can accept that. Still, I would hope they had the courage to encourage change in the club. Just as Oatmeal is real and bleeds, so do OL victims. And Charlies owes me more than a beer, he owes me a many great big, friken apologies, apologies that I know aren't coming anytime soon... just look around you. You can't get these guys to come near this with a ten foot pole. Why? You and I know why. Now Oatmeal and your brother in-law aren't responsible for what his brothers did but they are responsible for what they do on behalf of Charlie. And I hope if they ever come across those who did what they did to me, that they will have the courage to tell them what they did was wrong and if ever they do, tell them that Quicksand send her reguards.

Some Bad Biker, that's not nice. Why would you pick on someone who had been hurt? Besides as far as the fat kid comment, I can tell you my grandma would have said, "It takes one to know one". Maybe you were the fat kid? ummmm? Don't worry, I've got your back Victoria.

I use to drink at an Outlaw bar in Orlando on Old Winter Garden Rd. I am not a biker and don't look like the biker stereotype. I never had any problems in the bar. The outlaws ran everything south of Hwy 50 and the Warlock's territory was north of Hwy 50. I worked just down the road from the bar at Amdrill and one of my fellow workers had been asked to ride with the Outlaws, but instead joined the Warlocks. The Outlaws said that was okay, but don't ride your bike to work. Well, George didn't listen and during a rally in Tampa, a Outlaw prospect took it upon himself to rip George's guts open and stood there and watched him die. I am not judging anyone here, just making an observation. If you live and work in their territory, just show them respect and you don't get into trouble. Be disrespectful and anything may happen.

I was never approached to buy drugs by an Outlaw. There was no more drug use or abuse, depending on how you look at it, than at any other bar in town.

A question to any Outlaw or any other real MC member. Is a club like BACA a real MC club or just posers?

whodundat, remember you are not talking about respect you are talking about fear. It is a sort of domestic terrorism. Judging them might not be popular in their circles but a judgment is inevitable when you cut someone's guts open and watch them die. Such an act is morally reprehensible. Therefore, I have no problem passing a judgment about such a thing. Let me be clear. Murdering is wrong, raping is wrong, stealing is wrong, beating your woman is wrong, white slavery is wrong, running drugs or weapons is wrong. In short, victimizing is wrong. So, I will tell it like it is and don't care whether they like it or not. If they deem that disrespectful then so be it. But then again, I've no respect for organized crime.... nor do I scare easy

They wouldn't be selling the drugs at the bar. If they did you wouldn't see them do so. More than likely, they would sell them to someone street level who would distribute the drugs for them, unless they were hard up of course.

Again, I say that is true of anyone that commits a crime...it is not just MC's that commit crimes or we could just lock them all up and live happily ever after. Log into Road Rash Magazine in Chattanooga and see some of the good things they do. No one ever talks about that....

Npressley, you miss the point every time. Some of my work includes statistics. When it comes to crime...yes you are right in the understanding that crime occurs in all segments of our society. However the AMOUNT of crime, occurring in the 1%er biker community is disproportionate in comparison to the rest of society that is other than street gangs which are equally as volatile.

Npressley, if you're not already, you could serve as the OL's publicist. You seem a prolific propagandist. I think on some level you have been groomed by the club to do what you're doing. Or maybe it had something to do with your upbringing and your sister's affiliation with the club. What makes me think that? Well, you have the duck, cover and placate down to an art.

The duck: You refuse to answer any direct question I ask. Why would that be? Well, because you can't. Remember who you are talking to.

The cover: When your defense of them comes dangerously close to sounding absurd, with the,'too good to be true story', you will concede some but not all validity to my ideas and feelings. You will offer a cover instead, they are not choir boys, they are not boy scouts, they are no angels, yes they do things wrong. The club is looking for real MEN, they are HARDASSES.

The placate: After Oatmeal's rant at me you said this, "Oh and Oatmeal when I see you and your new girl out I will by you a beer....I am glad you don't let other peoples opinion bother you...I am proud to know all of you."…. Let me translate in ol' lady terms... Its okay, calm down, you're making her point for her....you’re good, you’re good, you’re good....I've got your back…

I know you are nice woman Npressley, but the victims are piling up right here on your forum and still you refuse to acknowledge the criminal element in the club. Why???? Let me ask you this, what type of a man comes home and says, "Hey honey, I think I might like to join an organized crime group. That might be fun....right? Npressley, what you say doesn't even make sense. Why would anyone join a 1%er group known for their criminal deeds if they themselves weren’t comfortable with criminals? Their reputation precedes them honey. At least they hope so. Look, I am genuinely trying to understand your perspective. I just can’t see it. Then again, my view is different.

You pointed out that it's a brotherhood, and on more than one occasion too. Clearly, you've got that much right; at least it certainly ain't no sisterhood. How do I know that? Can you sister ride a bike with the club, can she vote, get patched in, attend church, wear colors? Nope, she can’t. She can't even talk back to them. At least not in public. The men won’t allow it. Why? Her job is to get the beer and support her hubby and the club with no benefit other than to be able to say she is property. Like their bikes, their dogs, their, stuff, she has been subjugated to being equal to ‘stuff’. Not so? Then why do they call her property. The meaning is literal in the OL world. They are chauvinistic creatures; the subjugating is deliberate, though you will deny that. Although you WILL concede that you yourself would not want to be called property. Most women would agree with you. ME MANN... YOU WOMAN. Kind of basic but that's the way it is. But I know your guys aren't like that. I wouldn't let the others in on that if I were you.

Further, you said that a select few join the club. They belong there. What makes them belong? Your implication is that they are unusual or different. I agree they don't fit in to what society thinks of as the norm. Just look at the way Oatmeal chooses to communicate. Could he go to the grocery store and talk that way to the clerk, or when he goes to meet grandma at the Ol folks home or to a meeting in corporate America. Probably not, unless of course, he wanted to get kicked out of there. Most people in regular society would think of such speech as depraved. Still, he spoke to me the same way they all spoke to me… and to all the other women around me….disrespectfully. Yet they demand respect themselves while forgetting that respect is reciprocal, just something else nonsensical about the club’s philosophies.

First of all let me get you straight on one thing right off jump street...I NEVER duck anything. I will tell you straight up that in some respects you are right but in most you are WRONG. You blame almost every crime on earth on the MC's, like your warped view of "normal" society would never commit the exact same crimes. There are criminals in every walk of life and yet you don't condemn all just the ones that you choose too. As for your "statistics" show me the data (who did they poll? how many did they poll? What economic structures were polled? Etc...) for every statistic you bring I can show you a refuting statistic. As for me being a member...never has been a goal of mine to be any man's property but I respect others rights to choose. Am I friends with many of them. Damn straight!! I would rather have an OUTLAW at my back than a supposed "do gooder"! Not once have I judged you yet you think you have the right to judge me by my friends....yet you refused to even consider to look at the good in any of them. What does that say for you? As for buying Oatmeal a beer...I will when I see him because I do like and respect him as a person regardless if he has on the vest or not. You really need to get past the leather and learn to base your assumptions on an individual basis not on stereotype.

One more thing....I am no one's Ol lady, and when Oatmeal disrespected you he had justification when you took it upon yourself to judge him as some kind of monster. This is someone that you don't know yet you think you have the right to tell them who and what they are??? GET F-ing real

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Aquarius

The more you want to control someone, or someone wants to control you, the more difficult life will be today. It's a Full Moon and a lunar eclipse, so the last thing you should do now is to act as though you own this person, or tell them what to do, because it will be an instant recipe for rebellion and trouble. Mars is retro in your house of significant others and open enemies after all. If you don't want to spoil the evening's celebrations you'll have to make compromises, and hope that this other person will do the same. Don't let the fuss stop you having a very happy New Year's Eve.
