I would be scared all the time if I knew Sadam or his boys could just come in and take me away. That would be wrong. And I couldn't go to school. That would suck.The infrastucture is way stronger today than in the past, kids are in school, factories have been built and are operational. I shall send you the truth when I get there next month. I would just like to point out that Sadam's kids on a regular basis would go around killing the common citisen and raping women on a regular basis.

We may have exchanged one terrorist for others in Iraq....but dont think for a minute that the people are "worse off" then they were back then. I really dont know how to gauge it (by the way I am former military who was there for desert shield) but it is certainly not worse.

The problem is that there was not exit strategy when we went in. We should have been long gone by now.

Please understand that we don't have enough volunteers in our voluntary military which is why we have stop-loss and why we cannot get it done and get out of there. We are in a war, people stopped choosing the military as a job. Thats fine but for those who chose to bitch, either do something or shut the hell up. Thats my opinion for the day.
