My daughter is single and works 40-50 hours weekly and has insurance. However the deductible is so high she can't afford medical care. Under the presidents plan she is able to get her basics such as mammogram and pap for free. Now please explain to me how that is dead beating.

You don't have a clue. Why should you or anyone else get any free health care? What have you done to earn or deserve free health care. You and your family are just part of the deadbeat class that has ruined the country.
By the way there is no such thing as free health care some productive member of society is paying for you to mooch off the rest of us.

Mammograms and pap scans are preventive screenings and most likely free as part of you daughters healthcare plan or at the most just has to pay co=pay for doctor vist. Have her check into that because I pay 400.00 per mth for my family with a 1000.00 deductable and cant afford to pay for her "free" screenings. Why do you think most of us pay higher premiums and deductables? Because we are paying for those who dont. Look I understand there are some folks who need help but there are to many people scamming the system that need to be dealt with. However, they will not be because the dems need there vote, all that is is modern day salvery. And yes illigals are on top of that scamming list. Sorry its just true. Get in good with a school official and let them tell you the money that is spent in education to teach children of illigals, its a shame. Be a citizen the right way.

I worked in the public for 48 years paying family insurance premiums and taxes. Now that I am retired my deductible is 1000 and I still have to pay a co-pay. I turned 65 this year and got Medicare and lost my health coverage that I paid for out of my retirement check. They wouldn't let me keep my health coverage through my previous employer because they called it double dipping. How could it be double dipping when I paid the premiums? Preventive screening once per year is part of my plan but heck at 65 what is there to PREVENT. Haven't been to the doctor in over a year because I can't afford the deductible. Go figure.

Obamacare was named Obamacare by Republicans attempting to make it sound like a bad thing. Millions of Americans will be better off in 2014 where the Insurance Companies will no longer be able to turn someone down that is sick. This law has a lot of built in preventative parts in it to promote better health and lesser Hospital Bills. The ones that knock it don't even know the facts. Yes everyone covered will have to pay into it or be penalized for not paying. These panalties will pay for theirs. It will get the lazy dead beats that are too sorry to work off the system. It is not a Government plan either. Premiums will be paid to insurance companies. They will have limited profits built into this instead of windfall profits like the oil companies are doing. I hope they are next on the long list of truly fixing America.

Big Insurance Companies only care about one thing right now and it is the bottem line. In 2014 thanks to the Affordable Health Care Law you will have some clinch against the Big Insurance Companies. Their profits will be limited to a certain percentage on the dollar and the rest will go for coverage. The day of reconing is just around the corner freind. Obama is not a bad President reguardless of what they right wing pump. They are only for the wealthy. Not us friend.

Why be such an idiot. The lady said her daughter had insurance and Obamacare would pay for some preventative things. Obamacare which is really the "Affordable Health Care Law" pays for these things out of insurance premiums....not your taxpayers dollars. Why lie and distort when you don't have a clue as to what is really happening.

Hobby Lobby will have to pay the goverment 1.3 million per day if they refuse to let abortion and condoms as part of a coverage on their healthcare coverage and "big insurance and big oil companies" are the only ones out to get money. Hobby Lobby has filed a law suit against the goverment. Small businesses will suffer from this "law", rather socialist agenda of this president. Bury your head all you want doo...you want it...DURN IT PAY FOR IT!! People have been buying rubbers for years. No tax dollars should fund the murdering goverment abortions nor pay for the rubbers of those whose life consist of how many they get in bed with. Take some responsibilty for your own sorry life!!

Before Obamacare my premiums were $196 per month and I had a $30 copay. Now my premium is $430 per month and I have a copay of $45. Prices just keep getting lower everyday, can't wait for 2014.

You keep on trying to pin abortions on Democrats when just as many or more Republcians gets abortions. This is a common right wing propaganda used to attempt to make Democrats look bad. Keeping on and on lying knowing the truth don't make you look too good. If you like getting ripped off at the pump and every month on Health Care then support your Republican party. Apparently a lot of people doo. That is why it is like it is today. I can't wait for 2014 to phase in and save me money on my premiums. The reason premiums are going up before this phases in is to try to scare people away from the law and try to position themselves at a higher rate before things kick their buts. Government abortions propaganda is just more right wing redoric. Get over it and start you life over supporting the right cause and quit supporting the wealthy class. They think you are just another 47%'er they don't care for.

With the "Affordable Health Care Law" everyone will be forced to pay and "nothing" will be free. You should support the law if this is how you feel.

All I know is, I pay $400 a month for health insurance through my company. They've increased our deductible to $3400. I do not have co-pays, I must pay for ALL visits upfront until the deductible is reached, aside from the once-a-year physicals and check ups. Even once my deductible is met, I still have to pay 20% costs of everything. I just don't understand how the hell this insurance is worth anything to me. We are a young family, we have no major health concerns. I am basically GIVING $400 away every month to a HUGE corporation whose president is getting a quarter million dollar raise this year. They want to scream that it's all Obamacare's fault, but the fact of the matter is, it's their own greed that is driving up my rates and deductibles, and lowering the amount they pay for anything. Health insurance is turning into a huge scam. The fine for not having insurance would almost be worth not throwing my money away into a company in order to help the rich get richer.
