The new school year will soon be upon us. As a parent I'm conscerned that the students dress code is more enforced than the teachers. Being the mother of young students, I believe some of the teachers at our elementary schools look as if they should be serving in a bar. Walking through the school hallways you can see the impact made on our small children, especially the girls. These young girls want to imitate their role models, unfortunately the teachers seem to not take this into consideration. Then they wonder why the lack of respect is given in the classrooms.

So just exactly what type of clothing do you want teachers to wear? what type of clothing were these teachers wearing that you did not like?

Something that covers themselves, not so revealing.

Let 'em strip down. Some of those teachers are pretty hot. Showing their cleavage and camel toe is ok by me but I'm a voyeur.

Yes the dress code should apply to everyone! They should set an example! And the cell phone policy!

I would personally be more concerned about what some of the parents show up to the school wearing. Some of the most inappropriate clothing I have ever seen. They should be ashamed.

Murray County teachers do have a dress code policy. It can be found on the website www.murray.k12.ga.us . If you find someone's attire inappropriate, please feel free to address the issue with the principal of that school, if you have the sincere desire to correct the situation for your child.

Get real that the administration is going to do anything about attire, they will not even handle the bulling problem. Did you know the school system has two more bulling lawsuits?

Because if you see what the kids are wearing and still keep on wearing (showing cleavage to the extreme, huge holes in the paints, students wearing flip flops in the winter time and body piercings), you know nothing is being done. No discipline in the high school. If the high school wants to meet AYP, they need to get discipline established.

You will be surprised of how the dress code was completely ignored in my high school. Kids would wear Jimmy Hendrix with a marijuana portrait on someone's shirt. The same went for alcohol advertisement on shirts. Some girls wore shirts that exposed their cleveage and some guys wore their pants so low exposing their underwear. All I said to myself was "Whatever"

I never saw anyone dressed like this in JROTC. These kids should have been in jrotc and learn some disipline and respect. It is easier for the school administrators to ignore it than do something about it.

What about parents who, once notified that they need to bring their child appropriate clothing to replace the torn pants or the shirts that are too low and show way too much cleavage, or too high cut and show off their tummy, or their jeans are cut so low that when they sit down their are showing off their underwear, make such a deal out of the teacher who reported this that the teacher is counseled for "seeing" this inappropriate spectacle - and so the teachers refuse to fight that battle anymore because the parent raises so much cain with the central office that the policy is effectively ignored! What about the teachers who talk to their administrators about the constant dress code policy being ignored, and whether they are to try to uphold the policy for the rest of the student body, but are told to "pick their battles" when dealing with parents so as not to alienate those parents? I ask this in defense of friends who deal with this daily and talk about this frustrating daily occurance. What then?

If a teacher's got a great rack, I think she should be showing cleavage every day. Great @$$, something tight. A little camel toe is good for the soul, too. If she's got some long, fine legs, a mid-thigh skirt is what she needs to be rockin'.
But, that's just me. If you're a prude - and I'm talkin' a hot prude - you should follow my advice above. You'll be a lot happier.

Calm down, Jimmy. I'm sure the little Tykes don't notice me staring at their teacher's booty shake as she sashays down the hall, or looking down her blouse when she bends over to talk to them. There are bunch of smokin' hot teachers.

I know I looked down my teachers' shirts a lot. They had some good ones.
