Surely he will admit that he is not the man for the job! Have a enough respect and please throw in the towel. You and your staff have won one game in two years and that is pathetic. Hopefully The principal is going to do something about this and make a change. We need to go ahead and find a new coach ASAP.

While it is true that NMHS has only won one game in two years, that does not define the head coach. He is dedicated and truly cares about those boys. There are so many issues involved. This is a very young team and I think Coach C should have another year.

You have lost your mind! He may be dedicated and he may care about the boys but his coaching is awful! NM should have won 5 or 6 games this but the shitty coaching got them beat every time. Obviously you know nothing about football and what it takes to be a winner.

Napier-Lowe-Zeigler-Cornelius- Hammond---equals 7 wins in 5 years. It aint the coaching!

Awful athletes-split schools-middle school caliber assistants on the varsity level-volunteer level coaches in the middle schools---equals poor football.

I know exactly what it takes to be a winner and you are not it. Gotta love those with all the opinions but with nothing to back it up. If you are so "in the know", why not step up? You are the classic backseat driver that complains, but does nothing proactive.

How long is the "young team excuse" going to last? Geez at least come up with a different excuse. This one is getting old.

I'm taking it as the young team is it is a young program. Why are you barking up and down on this topic? Let's look at Calhoun.. hmmmm pre 2000 THEY WERE BAD!!!!!! 2000- present REALLY GOOD. PROGRAMS NEED TIME TO BUILD AND CHANGING COACHES EVERY OTHER YEAR WILL NOT FIX IT

Don't even try to compare North Murray to Calhoun. That will only make you look even more foolish than you already have with the "young team" excuse. North Murray needs a new Coach. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!! He is in over his head and it is painfully obvious.

With the county hiring freeze that was in place when they were forced to hire Hammond last year as well as Zeigler and Cornelius both in 09,, exactly who IN SYSTEM do you think would do better than Cornelius if they fired him?

Don't kid yourself....new teachers have been hired in the past two years....such as SP Elementary hired the Principal's granddaughter and her best friend. The former Woodlawn Principal hired her best friends daughter. Mountain Creek has hired new teachers. So you cant blame it completely on the hiring freeze.

Did you happen to notice that Chip Kell was on the sideline with Coach C this year? Kell has played pro ball and has probably coached longer than you have been alive, and for several winning teams. You take an athlete starved county like Murray, split it in half, then blame the coaches because the teams can't win.

North Murray does have athletes but there are very few. Coach c needs to better at play calling. But i don't think a new coach is what the team needs. that would only hurt them im afraid.

When the best athlete in the building is one of the coaches, don't matter who coaches the kids...they aint winning.

I would like to know which coach you consider to be the best athlete. If it's eric bishop, if he was as great as he thinks he is, he would be playing pro. The only thing he's good at is talking about kids, and putting them down. He needs to look in the mirror, and see that he's not Mr. Perfect. Look how he did his sweet wife. Shame.

Coach C is a joke. Politics drives him to play who he plays. Lots of wasted talent on the sideline not playing. We lost good players, 2 of them Seniors, due to the politics. get a coach that doesn't play political games due to "Daddy's deep pockets" and someone who knows how to coach and you'll see wins!

What do people expect when u take an already struggling football program and splitting it up because of a new school that should've never been built to begin with...hell let's build another school and try to get down to single A..maybe that'll help

I would like to know where you get off saying Coach C is drivin by politics? Name one player that was on that field who's father had deep pockets. The deep pocket parents are basketball parents. Or they like to make people think they have deep pockets anyway.

Obviously, you din't visit the high school building in 2007. The student population was over 2000 in a school built for a maximum of 1200. That is a rancid academic environment for students with enormous class sizes, claustrophobic hallways and supervisory nightmare for teachers and administrators. It's not about sports at that point. It's about facilities contributing to poor student performance. The system had two choices, expand the existing facility or build a new school. They chose the latter which I don't inherently disagree with. However, the new school could have been built in a more economical manner. The issue was classroom space, not a lack of marble and finery. From a purely athletic paradigm, the school was just barely big enough that the sports teams were 5A. How'd that work out for them?
