I really think you ppl need to know the truth. Its pretty obvious that you didn't know them personally. If so you would know that Sonny wasn't a monster or a control freak! Sonny was a great guy. Yes he had his issues but don't we all. Jessica was a girl who had nothing and single mom with a beautiful little girl. Sonny gave her everything and look what it got him. I'm not saying he should've killed her but I could see how he would snap. I saw him everyday at Dazzle. Anyone who knew him knew he wasn't himself the last few months. He was very quite and kept to himself. Which is completely unlike him. He was trying to cope with Jessica cheating on him. It was no secret it was going on b/c I talked to a girl that worked there several times while I was tanning. Jessica had said the day she was killed that she was gonna file for divorce and I'm sure that she probably threatened him that night. It had gotten to the point where she really talked to him like a dog and he really didn't deserve it. He gave her the world on a silver platter and really "made" her who she was. Then you got her step mom, Cindy Spencer, that is running her mouth. She is one person who got a lot of the rumors started. If you will look on her face book there were only a handful of pictures of Jessica in her pics. Then when she died she posted pics. Anyone who knew Jessia knew she wasn't close to her step mom and had just recently gotten close with her dad. Now you tell me if they were so close then why didn't Jess hardly ever talk about them in the past?

and anyone who really knew Sonny and Jess knew that they had been swingers at one point in time. This is NOT a rumor either. They were big into that lifestyle for a while but think they had pretty much gotten out of it.

I agree ppl shouldn't be on here "trashing" them. There is nothing wrong with ppl knowing the truth though. Everything I stated was the truth and it needs to be said. Maddie will never be on here reading all this trash and lies ppl are reading. I doubt Ambra lets her get close to a computer right now b/c of all the lies being spread, and by the time if she ever does get on here this "thread" will be long gone. Everyone has their opinion I'm just tired of everyone talking like Sonny was this horrible terrible person and trashing him. I think everyone knows(or should know) that there is two sides to every story. We don't know all the facts and probably never will of what happened that night. But the things that led up to it ppl do know and can state the truth. I think before you go spouting off you need to do some research! Because most of the stuff happening was common knowledge!

She is a 9 yr old child who is not old enough to understand her parents discretion's. All she will see is people talking bad about the mother she knew, whom to her was the most perfect person in the world. If she was older I would understand where you are coming from but she is not and will not be for several more years. I want you to think about how your daughter would feel if this was about you. Would you want your child to read bad things about you whether they are true or not?
I seriously doubt you would, no parent would. Some things need to be sugar coated as you say but I say some things are better left unsaid by the public to protect an innocent child. I believe this child has been devastated enough without knowing all the rumors being said.

We don't know if YOU are telling the truth or not. Just about everyone one on here claim they know what was going on. So YOU could be lying just as well as the others, we dont know you. As far as the child reading this right now, I have my doubts on that but one day that child will be older and not every move she makes will be monitored. So yes they is a good chance that she will come across this. As far as this thread being long gone, this is the internet nothing disappears for good. You are correct in your statement about "we don't know all the facts", no we dont and neither do you. Did you live in the home with them? Was you areound them 24/7? Or you just one of the customers that think they know everything there is to know about this? I believe you are the latter. So before you say something to me about "spouting" off because I am taking up for A CHILD, you really need to take a look at your hypocritcal self. As far as research, honey I'm not that obsessed with this as most of YOU are so I really don't need to be doing any resaerch at all. Jessica did not like her step-mom, Cindy Spencer. She made many attempts at a relationship with her dad and step-mom, and they all failed. They were suing Jessica and Sonny when she was murdered. They are in another lawsuit now trying to get what they can for free. Believe me when I say, the ONLY reason they have any concern for Maddie is because they see $$$ attached to her. These people should pack up and go back to where they came from. Better yet, leave the state of Georgia. They want to throw around lawsuits because they don't have a pot to piss in, but I see a lawsuit heading their way in the near future.

Maddie's life will never be the same REGARDLESS of what people choose to post. She's NINE! She's old enough to have plenty of memories from her childhood if/when she reads any of this some day! She will take her memories and hold them dear, and will have plenty of questions for Ambra when she's old enough to want to know. You give Ambra no credit for this huge responsibility..but Jessica did..being the reason she has Maddie! Jessica's own family publicly made up all kinds of lies about the situation! It won't be hard for Ambra to convince Maddie that 99% of what she may read will be untrue! Maybe, since you are so concerned, you should just pray for Maddie's future and let it be! For all those ppl that was wondering about what "oh really" commented about it is the truth. I knew Jessica and Sonny very well. I ran several runs with Jess and even one with Jess and Maddie in Chatsworth. I also hung out with Jess and Sonny alot at their home and at the Depot. I put in several hours helping them get ready to open Dazzle. So before you put some rude comment about me knowing them, yes I did! Everyone has an opinion on this matter. Sonny and Jess were having problems for a long time. Jess was a private person but only a few of us knew what all was going on. The only part I'm not sure of was the "swinging" part. I have never seen it while I was with them and they never talked about it so I don't know that to be fact. But I do know the last few months were very rocky between the two. From the outside looking in they seemed like a perfect happy couple but at home and behind the "public" view it was a totally different. The last time I was with them Jessica was downing Sonny all the time. I told her then it was time to move on. She didn't love him anymore. But she was gonna make sure that all her ducks were in a row and she was gonna make sure that her and Maddie didn't have to struggle. I talked to her the day before she died and she told me then she was gonna file for divorce. I asked her if it was because of Chad and she told me "No, not really. I'm just don't want Sonny in my life anymore." I told her she needed to think long and hard but I would stand behind her in whatever her decision was. Jess had been seeing Chad a several months before it all came out. Maddie will be taken very well care of from Ambra and she will never let Maddie forget all the memories. I feel horrible for everyone involved. I talked to Sonny the day of the murder at Dazzle and he was up beat and in a good mood. But when he and I actually started talking he started to tear up. He said he felt like he was "dying inside". My heart broke for him and still does. He should have to pay for the crime he committed but everyone needs to know that Sonny was a great person. Always had a laugh and a smile and a kind word for anyone he met. Sonny isn't this horrible monster the media has made him out to be. My prayers are with them all. And THAT is the TRUTH!!!!!

Jessica cared so much about what people thought of her. And reading everything u people are writing. Not one of you was worth a thought in her loving, giving, spirited, intelligent mind. Things done with the best of intentions sometimes are just completely wrong. And to all the grandparents. Is it not scaring you at all that a "friend" could come take your grandchild from you if your child died. And said "friend" could take all your rights with NO WILL. No one is saying that Jessica was not a sweet person and NO she did not deserve to die in any way. On the other hand you can push a person so far and then they snap as Sonny did. Maybe she should have not been sending him pictures of her and Chad in text messages and rubbing her affair in his face, while breaking up with him and trying to take the rest of all he had left. Very clear that she did not care what he thought of her or how she was hurting him, still that does not justify a brutal killing, but it does go to the point of saying they are more amicable ways of getting a divorce and one of them is to wait until your divorce is final before cheating. Another is not to pour gas on the fire and aggitate someone who at one point loved you. As for a friend getting a child without a will. YOU know nothing, there was a will, regardless of what you say, their was!!!! As for grandparents the kid did not have a relationship with them and neither did Jessica. Anyone with "ANY" common sense at all knows that a court will not give a child to a non relative over a relative unless their is a legal paper stating where the child should go in the event of a death. So stop the non sense. Besides the child is happy and content and above all she is being loved and well taken care of right now, and is getting therapy to help her deal with the emotional issues and the pain caused from this tragedy. Truth being she had been neglected by her mother and sonny for quite some time before the death of her mother. I am just wondering is the family just upset because of a insurance policy they want their hands on. I THINK SO!!! But the non relatives who seem to have Maddies best interest at heart and all have agreed that all of the money from it goes to a fund she gets at a certain age, they dont want it and they have agreed to raise and love this child with their own money. They are suing for Jessica's estate. They are wanting nothing more than money. Why would grandparents that love their granddaughter so much want to take all that she has left? Just one question. It has been stated that Jessica was going into a restaurant business with her Father and step mom. Also was stated that Sunny was working with them on this and he was later told he was not going to be involved any longer. Is this true? If so, how could it be if Jessica was not close to her parents. Thank you

Jessica had tried to establish a relationship with her father in the last yr, but it was not working out at all, at the time of her death her father and step mother had a lawsuit against her (jessica) over the restaurant. Also her father and step mother are suing her estate once they found out their was a life insurance policy and they seem to "think" their is lots of money out there, which is not true, Sonny was broke, the house they rented was not theirs nor was it paid for, it was rented. And they dont seem to understand that anything that is there monetary will go to Jessica's next of kin which is Maddie her child and also they dont understand that the courts will put any money aside that she gets into a trust that she will get at a certain age(S). Lets ponder on this for a minute if their is so much money out there, by law and on a legal standpoint Sonny has not been convicted yet of any crime only charged. Big difference, therefore he would still have the right to use any monies as of right now and legally they were not divorced and 50% of everything is still his anyhow, so why has he not hired a attorney yet. My guess is money, their is none. Yes he did hire Marcus Morris but only for a bond hearing, which is not the same thing. So there you go.

I feel the same way. I would hate it if my so called family members or friends told my business after i was dead like they are. They bad mouth her family in every post. They haven't even been on here saying anything negative about the situation. That should say something.
