Am I the only parent concerned about the students driving to and from school in this rough weather we have been having? Just this morning a North Murray student was in a bad wreck at central and then right after school there was another wreck on 225 with a truck in the ditch! I am not saying school needs to be cancelled but possibly a morning delay like all the other bordering counties are doing!

Buses I'd say are a little harder to control during the dark with a lot of rain I'd say. That's just a thought though. So maybe we should have a delay for school tomorrow in Whitfield and Murray County.

I also am concerned about my child in the morning when he leaves out for school, because the rain is just so bad

I strongly agree! There is just to much water on the roads right now to have students driving to school! The best thing the school system could do is give them a 2 hour delay giving the roads a little bit of time to dry up! The surrounding counties are not just doing this for no reason!

Dont you just love how our school officials take our childrens safety into consideration...in Murray Co it takes a death to get them moving and making decisions. If any of you reading are on the school board or in a supervisors position, use some common sence if you have any left.

What surrounding counties other than Catoosa are on delay? Whitfield, Dalton City, Gilmer, Gordon, and Calhoun City are not showing delays tomorrow. Is there other information out there somewhere? I checked Channel 12.

Polk County is closed but they close for everything. Bradly County also is not showing a delay.
